You might look up the April 2017 Issue of National Geographic, cover article on Transhumanism. I found it by chance about a year ago and it blew my mind....update, here is the article on this link,

After subscribing for over 30 years, I cancelled my National Geographic subscription around 15 years ago, after the ‘feed the world’ two-issue series, and they were obviously bought out by Monsanto. Glancing through the link you sent, I’m so glad I cancelled. It’s even worse than before, full of propaganda and all kinds of paid ads they never used to have. In other words, it’s ruined like most other things that used to be good. And the article to which you refer is, indeed horrifying...especially the manner they present it. Like I said - propaganda.
Perhaps the odor is indicating they are decomposing and will evaporate. ...thought I was having a good dream for a moment. Just reawoke to this insane nightmare, yet again. Feels like Ground Hogs Day/ year...ad infinitum...😞

I'm a Naturopathic Doc who mostly practices homeopathy - a pseudoscience according to Wikipedia. The premise of homeopathic therapy - and many other holistic therapies - is to stimulate the inherent healing mechanism. This process can induce healing of one's ailments as a byproduct. The idea being the smartest dude in the room when it comes to healing is OBVIOUSLY our own body's homeostatic mechanisms.
The goal of many holistic systems is to work WITH the system, not try to control or improve on a system that we barely even understand. The dudes you are describing here, Tessa, are jamokes who live largely in the corridors of their own minds. Problem is, they also have curried significant power and their delusions include controlling all of life, definitely not just cells.
They are of the sociopath/psychopath class who imbibe deep the waters of narcissus. Our mindless incentive system essentially deifies such parasites. These are the deluded that think you can just engineer life to in your own twisted image. You can just control all the variables and everything goes your way. Tis a very outdated paradigm that just won't die, no matter how bent it often is.
Alternative medicines work because they are essentially "listening" for foundational patterns and applying interventions to strengthen the system specific to the disease in question.
Science has some powerful insights for sure - some wonderful understandings. Diagnostics and many interventions in acute care and many diseases can definitely be lifesaving using conventional approaches. However, when it comes to complex disease, conventional medicine finds itself at a remove from its wheel house.
By this I mean, you can apply directive/manipulative interventions in the short term - often with awesome results. However, complex chronic multmorbid disease is an entirely different animal.
Here conventional medicine falls by trying to control hypertension, headaches, constipation, depression, PTSD - all with separate pills/interventions as if the body is not an integrated whole. Sure, there are people satisfied with this approach. But once folks see there is a better way, they rarely go back to their bags of chemicals.
Anyway, this is all really to say that these guys have reached the epitome of delusion & hubris - that one can control complex systems. This is a dying form of medicine that these very powerful, but very out of touch folks just can't grok.
Well said Tim! I’m in the PNW too! I hope you’ve found a robust health freedom community where you are. I’m a bit to your south. We are proportionately the minority, but there are many of us in some different clusters of small groups meeting up regularly and cooperating.
Awesome Sauce! We are building it, and people are looking for us. But the clouds can get so dark and unrelenting - thus your wise counsel to not go it alone.
Hopefully, this taste of dystopia rising will awaken enough of us to turn the ship to the heart. God put an integrative medicine doctor in my life a few years ago. Autoimmune issues and biotoxin mold illness. So thankful for him. I think I would be dead already if I had stayed with upstate university hospital in Syracuse New York. After many years of barely managing, I have some quality of life again. So thankful for Dr who are following their oath. God bless you and all the other ( real) doctors

If I am not in a healthy home, it will be counterproductive & it’s about 600$ a month. I’m praying a lot, scared waiting for the ermi results. Let me see if I've got this right? Close to 12,000 people die of malnutrition everyday on planet earth in our little neoliberal capitalist paradise where the "miracle of the market" is busy "raising all boats." The latest count shows 70,000 people homeless next door to me in LA county. That's adults, kids, pregnant moms, you name it all without basic shelter, much less food, medical care and basic security. Our global oligarchy doesn't give a damn about such daily normalized human suffering and death as long as it doesn't interfere with the wealth machine that keeps them in power - but we're all supposed to believe these same immoral oligarchic clowns can't wait to give us all hi tech "implants" and connect us to "AI" and turn us all into immortal cyborgs? Oh, yeah, and now just for us they're going to - "write circuitry for cells and predictably program biology" - because they love and care about us all so much!
I don't know about you, but I just can't wait for our brand spanking new and exciting transhuman future where a combination of the latest drugs and my AI connected implant will make me really really believe that the rat I'm barbecuing under a freeway overpass is actually a sirloin steak at a 5-star restaurant.*

Before my personal "great awakening" and since my childhood, I was a huge fan of Sci-Fi.
A great deal of science fiction, most of it, going back to its early days, is predictive programming.
A significant portion of the population is under the spell of transhumanism via such propaganda. Myself included, as a young person. I still orbit in those circles in the online community. They're by-and-large convinced that such progress is humanity's best future. They're the ones who "trust the science" of allopathic medicine, NASA, cybernetics, climate change, transgender, AI, etc.
Jay Dyer has done numerous lectures about this predictive programming. I've followed him for years.
Somewhat related note, it was my "spiritual awakening" as a born-again Christian that finally released me from the spell. Amen.
As someone interested in promoting the need for a more Heart-led Humanity, your capacity to gather relevant information taking us into the artificial synthetic, AI led Transhumanist future is truly phenomenal. I think those with amazing and innate gifts, rarely see or appreciate the immense value they have to others and the world and, of course, as a race (generally speaking), we are not taught how to either give or receive compliments graciously or, at all!!

I think Katherine of BAiliwick found a court ruling that specifically ruled out ownership of Gene altered humans.
Which was a relief.

I feel similarly. I find comfort in closing my eyes and envisioning a helpful hand reaching out to me. It puts things in perspective for me.
