After subscribing for over 30 years, I cancelled my National Geographic subscription around 15 years ago, after the ‘feed the world’ two-issue series, and they were obviously bought out by Monsanto. Glancing through the link you sent, I’m so glad I cancelled. It’s even worse than before, full of propaganda and all kinds of paid ads they never used to have. In other words, it’s ruined like most other things that used to be good. And the article to which you refer is, indeed horrifying...especially the manner they present it. Like I said - propaganda.
