I remind my children that it is one thing to love but how much a greater thing to feel, to understand, to know the source of that love. We truly live in a lost world, with the masses struggling to be found. How wonderful to come home to a welcoming, loving Father that loves us so much He would sacrifice His only Son for our sanctification and redemption. God's Word tells us that if we abide in Him, He abides in us, and we know this by the Spirit which he gives us. As with your writings, God speaks to us through His Word. His new covenant is supported by the factual historical writings and prophecies of the old. Man's kingdoms are destined for failure, for believers, God's Kingdom is both present and eternal. God's Word is a lamp unto our feet, a light unto our path. Be in it.
Thank you, my dear, and sorry it took me a couple of days to respond. I was thinking how to respond since people constantly try to convert me to something, and I need to handle it with love, too.
Here is a question. If you feel like the words that come from my heart resonate with your Christian perspective, is is possible that the conclusion is not that I need to be Christian but that Christianity is not the only way to speak to God? In my own life, I have gain a lot more clarity once I stopped trying to understand world religions (including Christianity, that many of my people practiced). In fact, I did not gain the clarity that makes me happy now until I completely let go of it. I was a sad, tormented Christian when I was a Christian. So maybe, God speaks to me differently than to you, but speaks the same love, and there is not need to focus on formalities but celebrate the love that is unique in each of our souls but all is from the Creator and for the Creator?
PS. I don't believe that printed words is proof of anything. I studied history to some extent, and I think that books are printed usually by people in power, and it's a miracle if anything authentic gets in. In my observation, the sweetest, most honest faith comes when people try to connect to the divine from the inside, and words by other people can be an inspiration, or a guideline, or food for thought, but God speaks through sense, through our hearts and minds. Written word is very limited by its nature. In any case, I love you, you've been sweet to me, and I appreciate you.

Mine is not an attempt to convert but to encourage being in God's Word. If we say that "printed words are not proof of anything" then all of history becomes meaningless. I will pray for you.
