One of your best, Tessa. Did you know that here in New Zealand, despite the 'turning tide' of even the FDA and others, doctors are being attacked for prescribing or obtaining or suggesting the use of Ivermectin? These doctors should get medals for helping their patients; instead they are vilified and their licences are under siege. I call it antediluvian totalitarianism from the corrupt Medical Council and Ministry of Health here.

Thank you Manny! Not just in New Zealand!

I just watched an interview where a benevolent journo compared the use of ivermectin against COVID to the use of DDT against polio (the irony, given that DDT was not only poisonous but was seemingly also causing polio-like symptoms)!

Don't forget Dr. Francis Christian, Pediatric surgeon working for a Saskatchewan children's hospital, who was fired and had his license lifted for questioning Covid vax safety and talking sense about ivermectin, then told he needed psychiatric evaluation and treatment for his obviously justified reaction to the sudden attack by the medical Gestapo. And there was a somewhat elderly physician in British Columbia who spoke out about the risk to pregnant women and was snatched from his home, taken to hospital and incarcerated in a psychiatric ward in Vancouver, drugged without consent, and held against his will for almost a week while his family and colleagues tried frantically to get him released. Dr. Steven Malthouse was menaced with being forced to have a psychiatric evaluation for questioning the narrative. In fact the medical regulatory authorities in every province are just as bad as the one in Ontario. In the Greater Toronto Area, a compounding pharmacy has an 8-month backlog for filling hundreds of ivermectin prescriptions - written by MDs and NPs for themselves, which they can apparently do without being punished by their College. Ordinary people can't get an MD or NP to write the Rx because the College has forbidden doctors to write ivermectin Rx for patients unless it's for lab-confirmed helminth or scabies infestation. Which is Catch-22 because you can't get lab tests for parasites in Ontario.

Canada by now is an open-air Concentration Camp. I'm not being hyperbolic. This trajectory does not lead to anywhere a sane human wants to be. For the record, here is Dr. Francis Christian's "Inquisition Session" with the Saskatchewan Board of Mengele's:

We cannot receive prescription drugs from outside our own province or from other countries. They get confiscated and you lose whatever money you paid for them. Many people tried to get ivermectin from India. Kind of a scam because you have to send a special money order and then wait for weeks to find out that the border officials destroyed it and your address gets put on a list...

Nice stuff! Thank you.

Only ... "... to blame their parents for Greta’s climate emergency (not the BlackRock investors but their parents)..."

Implying that there might be a climate emergency. No, there isn't.

In simple terms:

1. "Back radiation" is simply radiation, and CO2 radiating high in the atmosphere, where it's cold, can't warm a warmer surface. If it could, we'd put ice blocks in our homes so that the "back radiation" would be added to the warmth of our walls and heat our homes.

2. Water vapor, absorbing more infrared than CO2, dominates in the lower atmosphere (so CO2's effect is virtually zero in the lower atmosphere.) But higher up it's quite cold. Consider that radiation follows the inverse square law: it diminishes to the square of distance. We know that anyhow: we know that we can feel the warmth of the surface on a sunny day but if we take a balloon up into the atmosphere, we can barely feel the earth radiating at all. This vastly attenuated radiation is supposedly warming CO2 high up in the atmosphere. But we know it isn't: the famed tropical tropospheric hotspot hasn't been found and skew-T diagrams tell us: it ain't there. Nowhere in any of the many diagrams of balloon data in the tropical troposphere.

3. A little more complicated: if CO2 makes the atmosphere opaque to IR radiation and thus the average emissions height must be from higher up, but at the same temperature, then if we count down using the lapse rate (6.5C/km) we'll get a warmer surface-- in fact, with a mere 300 meter rise in emissions height we'll get almost 2C surface warming! Anyone see the fallacy? How about: the lapse rate applies only to the troposphere and in the troposphere temperature decreases with height, so we can't "count down from a higher height but at the same temperature." It must be from a cooler temperature and anywhere we "count down" using the lapse rate, well ... nothing changes. This is actually the most sophisticated explanation for CO2 warming out of the several attempts to make the theory work, but it's complete nonsense. We can count down from a higher height but at the same temperature in the tropopause, but the lapse rate stops before the tropopause begins so no, we can't.

It's total, complete, utter BS. People promoting it have radiation sickness: they're stuck in the paradigm and can't get out.

I just had to say it.

He also helpfully lists & sketches—w/o making it a listicle, which is a boon in my book—the main our climate controllers. Spoiler alert: CO2 doesn’t grace the podium. Ok ok, sun #1, water #2, land #3, life #4, in descending order. The placements are more on logarithmic scale than linear. Meaning, we have Sun the forceful monarch, helped by Water the parliament. All others can be safely discarded in first approximation 😇 → https://www.wmbriggs.com/post/42510/

Thanks for the links!

I approach it from a slightly different angle and that's from physics, simplified. I use skew-T diagrams of balloon data, explained here: https://jimreagen.substack.com/p/more-comments-on-balloon-data

At some point I'll do an expanded version of a lay person's guide to CO2 warming physics by way of showing how silly the whole thing is, although this will require an understanding of the very interesting, and fairly easy to understand, skew-T diagrams.

I think one of the main points is that we're told that infrared radiation from the earth's surface will warm CO2 molecules higher up and then these molecules will 1) warm up the surrounding air and/or 2) back-radiate infrared to warm the surface.

A glaring problem is that there's virtually no "heat" in the upper atmosphere that can be either absorbed from or transmitted to the surface. I built a personal flying machine and tested it myself and could find extremely little heat radiated from the surface far below me (damn that inverse square law!) Nor could I warm up from the CO2 molecules surrounding me, since there was virtually no heat from the surface to be absorbed by the molecules. Bummer. It was cold.

CO2 warming science is akin to Ptolemaic epicycles.

Recently the Ontario legislature passed a controversial bill allowing hospitals (which are publicly funded) to get rid of chronic care patients (a.k.a. 'bed blockers') who don't need hospital level care by sending them to for-profit long term care facilities without their consent and against their families' wishes, anywhere in the province there is a bed available for them, which could be hundreds of kilometers away. I think it's a recipe for MAID when these isolated physically disabled people in care homes lose all personal contact with family and community simply because they can't go back home after hospital treatment for somethine. But get this: the taxpayers fund the for-profit long term care homes just as they fund the increasingly few non-profit ones which always have a better inspection profile and pay staff better etc. So convenient, given that Premier Doug Ford's mentor and BFF Mike Harris happens to own and run Chartwell, the province's largest US-based for-profit Long Term Care provider. Chartwell gets to take Canadian public money, set its own rules and be a huge influencer of public health policy and law that affects all Long Term Care providers and residents. If Chartwell says no one gets into care unless they have all the jabs, that will soon be law. Guaranteed.

Truly disgusting. Families will have to find a way to spring their loved one and bring them home. I know from experience that is very, very, very difficult. (Exit is easy; care is hard.) Is it only in Ontario? How long until it gets to the other provinces?

This is a great article! Maybe medicine has always been sort of bifurcated, into actual healers and people whose cognitive or psychological style make them predisposed to participating in groupthink, quickly losing their humanity. Paul Bloom says there is something in us that makes it really easy for us to deanimate people, and the mind state necessary to experiment on animals is certainly a preparation for deanimating people. When I was young I worked as a nursing assistant at a very upscale nursing home with many famous residents in California. One of my patients, who was contracted, was suffering with a terrible respiratory infection. I kept after the nurse to suction her, but the nurse kept saying "Old people don't feel pain" Something about the nature of these medical professionals, of that mind, allows them to totally deny their own experience and intuition. Experimentation on human beings has a long, long history, and not just the ostensibly outlier experiments like Tuskegee. I keep thinking of drapetomania, a diagnosis by Southern doctors explaining the psychopathology of slaves who didn't comply and tried to run away. A lot like information disorder. In some ways we haven't evolved at all since the Inquisition.

Yup. Case in point:

The Role of Doctors and Nurses - United States Memorial Holocaust Museum Encyclopedia

"Persecution of Jews and other groups was not solely the result of measures originating with Adolf Hitler and other Nazi zealots. Nazi leaders required the active help or cooperation of professionals working in diverse fields who in many instances were not convinced Nazis. The German medical profession played a central role in shaping and implementing many Nazi policies. A high number of doctors and nurses supported the regime, and many became complicit in Nazi crimes..."

The video is excruciating. I will NEVER be clean. You have done this to me, Tessa. The notion that these social media companies are protecting us from anything is the worst nonsense. The main social media outfits are not simply private operators. They are government funded and also feed back information on our behaviour to those governments.

This model was working beautifully till government started the Covid project which demanded perfect control over the information we receive. Prior to that, it was enough for the Zuckerbergs to use the algorithm to cut our reach. Now, suddenly, like the smallest country that challenges US foreign policy, the smallest voice opposed to Covid-19 had to be thumped. Unlike what Jankowixz and "the Promulgator" were saying, the main social media providers were not forums for mis / dis information and attacks on women and blacks. Anyone who challenged the mainstream narratives was closed down. Anyone who challenged it effectively was closed down quickly and forever.

As for "The Promulgator" suggesting people are discouraging black people from voting, WHO TOOK THEIR MINDS?

These people on this panel are not independent players. At least two are on the public payroll and are enemies of the public. Chertoff's gratuitous line about Chlorax was deplorable and typical. Who took that or bleach? I took Ivermectin and Chlorax works as code for the same thing. He's a grub.

Thanks for this article. All we can do is think for ourselves, surely people ask themselves and who is deciding what is misinformation, disinformation and malinformation.

I cam across this from the book Deeper Than You Think by Leonard Reed.

DESPITE THE FACT that men never have found a paradise on earth, many continue to hope for a Shangri-La here and now; and they seek a shepherd to guide them to it. They long for a god or goddess to dispense the "last word" on social, economic, political, moral, and spiritual matters a source of certitude-a Leader. Nor is there ever a shortage of egotists who covet such a role and desire above all else an army of followers. The result of this combination is a cult; the slightest deviation from the master's mind is taboo. The individual who would be his own man could never follow blindly after another, any more than he could tolerate or assume the responsibility for a band of blind followers. To be in the vanguard of any line of thought is to leave a trail of sorts, and any responsible person will occasionally check his bearings. If he finds nothing but followers in his wake, he probably should write off his efforts as love's labor lost.

Things is, we do come from the spirit world, and we go back there when we die. And existentially, everything is FINE. But there is a big difference between a person honestly communing with the mystery, and being humble about it, and a person who ascribes own desires of domination to the will of God. Leadership is really service, trivial as it sounds but good, true leadership is respectful of the ones served. Dominating leadership is just predatory consumption, or ends up there very quickly. All of this is so simple and yet takes so much work to accomplish!!

Right on Tessa. Once l visited lndonesia in 1986 which was just after the lndonesian military had invaded East Timor and killed many citizens. (From around 1975-to which the "progressive" whitlam government of Australia did not bat an eyelid.) Photos of "intellectuals" - like professors teachers etc who were "wanted" citizens were posted publicly all over the place offering reward for capture or information about their "whereabouts". I guess they were regarded as "bourgeoisie". Someone l met then gave me the best advice l've ever been given - "lf at all possible, have nothing to do with religion politics or narcotics." I've taken that advice since about 2001. Sometimes, humans who are not that bright, like myself, have to learn things by experience. Even then it can be hard to remove yourself from enemies that become familiar. Better the devil you know than the one you don't. Identity, even if formed (partly) by aversion or reaction to the unpleasant so called "necessities" of life- as we are told, become difficult to walk away from. Peter breggin (psychiatrist with a conscience, & author of global predators, we are the prey), points this out, as did Siddharth guatama the Buddha, of course, who repeatedly said that having "right view" towards the nature of our "senses" (impermanent, unsatisfactory & not eternal) was the pre requisite gateway before the first noble truth of suffering can be realized-experiencially. Myself, having been burned by association with medicine- (psychiatry in particular but in general(having been dragged against my will repeatedly as a youth by my mother to the doctor for "general check ups") )- association with environmental activism & "protesting" - & association with religion- having lived for 5 years in a sectarian / non-universal religious "cult"- 12 tribes of lsrael community in Australia - Have been fortunate enough to walk away from these things. I would include all drugs- (legal or not legal, ie prescribed, mandated, coerced ) as narcotics- The drug pusher behaves in ways very similar to all those who have pushed the covid soup on to the bewildered public- media politicians teachers academics intellectuals "the go alongs to get alongs"- with the main difference being that the "glorified" drug dealers (media oligarchs unelected NGO's ) have done so from a position of "legitimacy" whereas a drug dealer is "illegitimate" . A drug dealer may face consequences for his "illegitimate" actions in this life, if he/she/non gender specific LGBTQI+ is caught & prosecuted but the glorified drug dealers- who may & probably almost certainly do benefit materially financially game the system to such an extent that they act with "immunity" from prosecution- legally. But their actions are the same- certainly , probably worse. & consequences will follow them- certainly- with cognitive dissonance fear confusion being their constant mental companions- trying to rope people in who merely state the obvious- actually trying to help them- with psychiatric diagnoses is little more than trying to make the world in their own "image"- the entitlement of "gods" or "miserable devils? But in these times- & throughout history, whenever "politics" "economics" "narcotics" become so toxic that the "systems" / "institutions" "paradigms" "civilizations" that enable them seek "cover" then the "cover" of "religion" "card" is always played. & the "meddlers"- the "Machiavellian princes princesses & their parrots" always throw their net of perfidious misery on the "unwashed deplorable masses" -forcing their "religious" ideology onto those who , being in their right mind, want nothing to do with these scallywags. Beg ya pardon gov , the parched ground upon which my blood falls still sprouts new life. Theatrically, your about 0-1 out of 10. Let others with some real talent take the stage. Good night.
