I was sent here by one of your regular readers. It did not disappoint!!! My brother is currently caught in the insane web of power grabbing and corruption. He was offered a position directing teaching and research in a teaching hospital, just to find out that a cabal of other doctors and administrators kneecapped him - as he would be the “wrong” person to manage the inflow of money from big pharma. They want their insider, the guy that will work with the feudal lords, and disburse the funds according to whom is doing the right research.

I will share the last words on his latest communication: “this is so humiliating”.

For those who do so: pray for him. I know he’s in a very fragile state right now.

Hopefully, your brother can see it as more eye-opening than humiliating. He’s the real deal, who believes in honest, ethical teaching and research. It’s not his fault the world where everyone else is bought and paid for!

there was a cricket in my bed last night. i couldn't find it. there was another one across the room and the conversation continued until i fell asleep. i've never seen or heard a cricket in a manhattan building before. was as if i was out in the country under the stars. wonder what they were trying to tell me: "don't eat me?"

Wow, what did they sound like in an apartment?

And they were possibly telling you just that... :)

was more like a couple of reedy little flutes, rather than the mellotron you hear out in the country, or in the park. so peaceful...

There is very little bug eating in Asia, and some of that is the tourist trap experience only.

You have a point. When I was in college, my friend who studied Korean went to South Korea and brought back something like salty grasshoppers. I tried them. Was edible but I was not compelled to try them again! On my end, I've been to China twice and don't remember a bug feast but then I haven't been to every place there. Then in Tibet, no edible bugs. And LOTS of meat.

Some U.S. scouts have been making grasshopper blended cookies for a few decades. It's a reasonable survival skill, and I honestly think that's the reason behind the messaging: create anxiety over the end of the economic world.

Hi Mathew. I guess it depends on quantifying 'little', but there is a tradition of eating inago (locusts) ... and a combination of dog-eat-dog business practices here are beginning to up the game. But you are right ... it is still a novelty item, not yet of enough scale to be affordable to the working class. But I can imagine it coming soon. https://www.tofugu.com/japan/eating-bugs/

Heaven forbid that that is so. But, as Bubba Gump said, "stupid is as stupid does."

Thank you Tessa!

In the USA people eat similar shit for decades now, it is branded “Fast Food Chains” that serve “Frankenstein food” and people are waiting in line to be served, this is just the next step to progress (no, not my & your progress). The food we consume affects our mental & emotional part not only the physical.

Gaslighting by the psychopath conspiracy network. Hard to separate the intimidation from the truth these days. If you don’t know psychopaths you don’t understand what’s going on. See: https://robertyoho.substack.com/p/ad409d5d-db8b-476f-acce-f9e521b3aa7d

It is indeed hard to separate intimidation from the truth these days (I think the bulk of it is intimidation anyway). And thank you for sharing your link!

As to the eating of insects - My Netherlands (thanks to Wageningen university) has been trying to get us to eat bugs and worms as far back as the seventies.

I remember fashionable magazines coming up with recipes for rain worm pies and crunchy insect snacks in the seventies and eighties, but these campaigns never went anywhere - until now.

Oh wow, I did not know that!! Fascinating.

Until now.... let's hope today's campaign flops really badly! (Flops for them, not for the people)

And then when the bug population becomes endangered because 9 billion people are gobbling them all up just to survive, what will be the next thing "they" move us to to "save the earth?" With these monsters they take the money and run and then it's on to the next thing that will make them the most money and keep them in their evil positions for as long as possible. We *must* just say NO to eating bugs unless we actually want to for whatever reason (even though they are *not* good for us).

Expand full comment

"Unless we actually want to" is key!!! One may argue that there is nothing wrong with eating bugs in principle, and perhaps it is so but it is still outrageous to "train" people to accept it. Who do they think they are?!!

Expand full comment

Exactly! Just like everything else being shoved down the throats of everyone. No one I know has ever said someone *can't* wear a mask, get a shot, eat ze bugs, or end your own life for the earth if they want to. It's the training, grooming, fake shortages, coercion and all of the other psyops I have a problem with. And as far as monsters/mobsters go... As soon as I see *them* dining on bugs, drinking cloudy water, car pooling to their precious meetings, turning up their AC to 85 degrees, etc, then (and only then) will I take anything they are telling us to do seriously. Thanks for being here Ms Tessa.

Agreed. The only thing, ending one's life on Earth before their time .... one has the free will to do that, of course, but it is a really bad idea, according to the "indigenous" views I am subscribed to. I believe that no suffering that one experiences on Earth compares to the suffering of a person who chooses to try to transition to another world before their time. Not punishment, it's just that there are natural laws and going against them puts one in a bad position. It's like trying to go somewhere while there is nowhere for them to go, yet. Which, from what I understand, is strongly not advisable due to the suffering it is accompanied by.

Wow! That was a profound wording of a spiritual principle with horrific consequences.

I pray God blesses you in this ministry He has anointed you for. This “mantle” of concern and responsibility for others.. is of God. :-)

Hi Tessa, there are also worrying articles on eating human flesh. I really believe that the "mr. Global" worship death and evil. And they enjoy in bringing us down to half hungry ghosts half robot level. It is absolutely scary and the majority of people cannot see it.

Hi Niki, I think they are very broken and genuinely believe they are above natural laws and they are trying to also pretend that spiritual laws don't exist. It's on us to continue standing strong and investing energy in love and dignity as opposed to fear.

And yes, there are some crazy campaigns, I saw one about a plant burger that "tastes like human flesh" (how do they know what it tastes like?) and another about eating "celebrity meat" grown in the lab from their cells. Both sick and ridiculous and they are trying to do the unthinkable. But still, our job is to stand strong and have faith in the universe and let the higher powers take care of them in due time, while doing what we have to do today with love.... I think.

Hi Tessa, the one of the "celebrity meat" I didn't know. They are seriously sick!

I live in a Tibetan Buddhist monastery, a very poor one. I believe that we have to keep spiritual values in our mind. It's the only way to defeat this horror!

They are very sick, and just like anyone else, they are compelled to propagate what drives them, which in their case are brokenness and things that are against the well-being of people.

Wow, where is the monastery? I spent a few months in Lhasa (although not in a monastery).

Expand full comment

Wow! How did you get the permission of staying a few months in Lhasa? You lucky! :)

When I was going in Tibet the maximum time we had was one month and it was so expensive!

author

Wow really? That was a long time ago when I stayed there. I remember I had to pay something but it was not significant and I don't even remember for there to be time limitations. To correct myself, I was also traveling around but based in Lhasa.

So did you go? Do you know Makye Ame?

Expand full comment

I went in Tibet for many years but Lhasa was only the arrival point. My late beloved husband and I were helping a clinic in Tashi Lhungpo Monastery in Shigatze and some villages and smaller monasteries. It' many years now that I don't go. All the money now is for my kids here, we are a VERY poor monastery. I don't know Make Ame :) we were running all the time trying to do everything as fast as possible :D

The monastery is in Nepal. The old monastery is in Mustang, half an hour from the border with Tibet, but I live in the monastic school with the 52 kids. We are in Pokhara.
