One of the reasons I coat their pellet and scratch feed in DE-EARTH FOOD GRADE. Not 1 sick hen. Nor did they molt, or decrease production by more than 1 egg. I put solar lights in their night run.

Yes I just saw this shellac wax on apples from Costco. I was disgusted about it.
