I'm still sputtering with disbelief after watching the video on bagging people's heads in hospitals. A hospital? Clearly to me anyway, hospitals are the last places to go to for medical emergencies. People have come to place inordinate trust in our so-called modern medical system, its hospitals, doctors and medicines. Here's a stream of consciousness-thought: the US funding and collaborating with numerous bio-labs in former Soviet states is seen by Russia as encroachment, spying and perhaps other more nefarious purposes, according to the article from eurasianet.
What if one of the purposes of the US programme simply is amping up russian paranoia to the point Russia starts acting on suspicions, giving the US due cause to openly act against Russia?
The US risks nothing doing this, since any actual conflict - as we see in ukraine - would be between Russia's military and local forces, not the actual US forces and certainly not endagering anything on the US mainland: "let him and you fight"-strategy, so to speak.
As for the why, the US has always, ever since the first Word War, strived for a unilateral world order where US businesses calls the shots and the US armed forces enforce this. Pretty much exactly what the parent nation of the US used to do.
The russian and chinese counters to this has been to encourage and endorse corruption via the british and US financial institutions, as in the case of 'Londongrad' and the russian oligarchs using austrian, italian and british banks to launder the money they bled out of Russia during both the Jeltsin years and under Putin.
So, by tying together US biological research of the kind banned in the US (GoF f.e.) with US politicians being offered good money to simply sit on the boards of russian and chinese "private" businesses (since americans don't seem to understand what state capitalism as with China, or feodal tsarist economy as in Russia entails) and US intelligence operations, China and Russia both hopes to emplace and entrench key personnel in the US business/political system.
Because if you can't win in open confrontation, you outmaneuver, outlast or corrupt your opponent making him beat himself with his own resources.
