Great stuff Tessa, fuck Google. It is excruciating how that has become it's very own verb with all the tenses. I use it without thinking all the time, although I have DuckDuckGo, I am not sure that is sufficient! It all goes back into the sinkhole that is the G, doesn't it? Did you know that the protest ended with a riot squad at dawn, smashing women in the face with shields, tear gas and setting fire to the children's playground. Of the 36 arrests, no more has been spoken. Nothing has come out about who these people were. Methinks they were planted aggressors who moved in to the protest about 3 days before the police attack, giving them a reason and setting the fire. They would have been arrested and processed straight out the back door with a greatful clap on the back.
Then they handled it better than they did the J6-ers. Absolutely agree that's what's happening. Providing an enforcement focal point is unproductive. Strikes, guerilla messaging, and widespread small events remove that advantage.
Also, Brave (browser and search engine) is supposedly best for privacy and accurate search results. Dr Robert Epstein, who researches all things interwebs and has been a real thorn in Google's side, explained a lot in his Rogan interview #1768. Eye opening. For another eye opener, check out Maajid Nawaz, Episode #1780.🔥
Thank you, I'll check it out. I am generally skeptical about privacy anywhere, I don't think it's possible anymore. I was interested in privacy research a few years ago, and based on what I read, looks like Tor was a honeypot, Signal was a honeypot, etc. Telegram is owner (I think, off the top of my head) by a bunch of Saudis and my compatriots, I am sure there is no privacy, just no censorship yet. Gettr is censoring, etc. etc. I think that as long as it if digital, privacy is problematic. :)
Dr. Epstein is a clear headed and courageous thinker. This is my take on Tech and why we have to take away their power. Its up to us if we have the will. Thanks for what you do.
Mark Changizi sent a newsletter today about Dr. Fraiman apologizing to the drafters of the GBD and the links were censored in the time it took for the newsletter to reach my mailbox.
Thank you! I saw the video of his apology. A beautiful sight, humble and human. And it's for people to make mistakes, what's not fine is being stubborn about it and not admitting to it!
try this for the whole roundtable...skip ahead close to the end for Dr. Fraiman's Mea Culpa - I watched the whole thing and Fraiman spoke once or twice during other parts of the show, but the big "Sorry" came almost at the end...this link worked at 3 PM EST 4/10/22.
I'll work through it when I have the time, I specifically wanted to see the apology because it was in Changizi's newsletter and as such his whole message lacked any context for me.
There are content creators I follow, Styxhexenhammer and Salty Cracker - they upload (safe) content to YT and direct listeners to alt tech platforms like Rumble, BitChute and Odysee for "the rest of the story".
I think this is the best strategy. Rather than ignore YT, leverage the platform to move your audience to alt tech platforms.
Jimmy Dore and Alison Morrow are also on YT as well as Rockfin.
Alison does a portion of her shows on both (before closing the YT feed and getting to the 'good stuff') and is very straightforward about encouraging YT watchers to switch to Rockfin or Odysee or other.
Pretty sure I recall Jimmy Dore encouraging using Rockfin.
lhink there is no formula. I do it case by case. I don't have any kind of strategy about it, honestly, just do what feels the most useful in each moment, and hope for the best. It's better for the nervous system. :)
The Beast is fed and overgrown already. And if they're doing the bidding of the Overlords, they're getting compensated and protected anyway, a la the propaganda paid for with our tax dollars by Xiden's HHS. Make them work for it. You never know who will see it at just the right moment.
I moved on from the legacy media years back. They did the same thing to me and my best friend. We both had had decent following on You Tube but we were shadow banned. It is a lesson we free thinkers have to learn.I use Word Press, Substack, and Gab. No censorship at any of those yet.
I sure hope not, perhaps I need to check further. Word Press tried to censor Jon Rappaport and a Buch of us left. They caved in and restated him when a bunch of us left.
back in the 90s there was a punk rock bar just north of st. marks place called the continental. it was situated in a little one-story 18th century brick building that was once a prison for debtors. the owner was a real asshole and took great pleasure in throwing customers out for random infractions. what got me thrown out was moving my chair over some imaginary line which, for reasons i was never told, could not be crossed. it wasn't as if i was taking up a lot of space or getting in anyone's way. i guess it was just my turn.
for awhile, if you lived in the east village, it was a badge of honor to get thrown out of the continental. it got to the point where there were more people who were banned from the bar than were still allowed in. of course, by then, everybody who'd been thrown out had already gone back again, and by that time, loser owner couldn't keep track of who he'd 86d, and who he hadn't.
so congratulations - you've been banned from the continental. by the way, the bar and the building are long gone. there's a hi-rise condo there now.
You are obviously not Americans, because if you were, you would value the principle of Free Speech. This is a principle so sacred to Americans, it is enshrined as the First Amendment of the American Constitution. Thus, you are not really Americans. And since you aren't Americans, you violate our Community Standards. You must therefore register as Foreign Agents if you are going to do business in the United States.
The reason we Americans value Free Speech - something which you obviously know nothing about - is because only by the free exchange of opinions and ideas are people able to judge the truth of an issue. The ONLY people who are opposed to free speech are those who FEAR THE TRUTH. If you didn't fear the truth, you would not be afraid of free speech. Adolph Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot, Castro, Idi Amin, Kim Jung Il and Jim Jones feared free speech. Because they feared the Truth.
So what does that say about you and your organization?
No wonder people are fleeing you and heading to Rumble.
Maybe not in the short run....but in the long run...Truth ALWAYS wins.
The aria in the key of Gemini... the Armenian song- move that one- don't let them hav it- lot of requests for what is being said last scene in comments- car keys still work move it all- starvefight them back-
Honestly, the day we all migrate away from Youtube, Twitter and Facebook as our go-to venues for publication will be the best day for us all. I understand people make money on these platforms via ad revenue, but the frustration and failure to keep information posted is not, in my opinion, worth the hassle. What is gained by posting information and watching it get taken down, unless the idea is to highlight censorship when it happens. If so, calling them out is not making any difference.
There used to be a time where everybody had a website, and it was fine. :) Then what happened is that Google and Facebook became kings of internet traffic, elevating and downgrading websites as they wished (more or less, although the heavy censorship only came a few years ago, and the super heavy censorship, in the past two years). I think it boils down to the amount of things to read and to a fast-moving pace of time. People like "aggregators" because it's convenient. But of course, whenever there is an "aggregator," there is a danger of power abuse. So, this is both trivial and, well, here we are where you can't say anything without being "demoted" by Google, Facebook, etc.
Agreed. Remember when Drudge became the most read aggregator? I believe it was advertising that ruined everything (as it does with everything it touches). At some point, advertisers acquired editorial power simply by the huge percentages of their advertising that moved from paper to online. Then, in an effort to promote "brand safety," they began dictating to platforms and service providers which ads could appear near which stories or on which websites. If really took off when advertisers, and ad buyers, refused to allow ads next to any stories that included any discussion of Trump, and it accelerated from there. The taking down of Alex Jones was the first real test of the power of internet overlords to frame online discussion; once they got away with that, the flood gates were opened and, as you say, we are where we are.
these things are great but we need to be able to download them. rumble suffers greatly from this, very hard to download. this particular one I just can't get any way I know of. And Dr Mercola is here saying he's removing everything because of the pressure of the (evil) powers.
Well isn't that really a powerful argument for having things easily downloadable so's we can spread them around?
Tessa, anyone, everyone, how do we get these things? All of them, everywhere, not just Dr Mercola but anyone that gets interviewed and says things the world ought to know.
Telegram helps here, but can be the Wild West of audio/video exposure-
Channels cruising with > 145k followers getting hit by the raw est porn stuff within comments notwithstanding -- the free flow is there and that is why the pollution in many forms always follows...
Can fill Terra Buffalos video stuff there but eventually sinks inn that all devices doing it anyway, and moment doesn't giv a flying phucker about art kept better we'll be expressed than retread otherwise creator make all frown-
It's a cute little referee showing you how close to getting your red card you are! That means you have to leave.
The concept is called "smiley-face tyranny."
Adorable inoffensive corporate artwork showing how cute and harmless oppressing you is.
That's a very good phrase!!
JaXinta Ardern is a great example of "smiley faced tyranny." If you don't mind a horsey smile.

I thought it meant that they don't like whistle blowers on YouTube.

Totally. Please forgive my ignorance, what are the J6-ers
They are our peaceful mercenaries that protested the Nov 3 2020 Insurrection of America.
Thanks, Lionel.

I wish I'd had a chance to see it before it vanished from existence.
Do you have a link that still exists?

Thanks a lot, this was it.
The whole thing is watchable if you have the time (or can operate at 1.5x normal speed).

Thank you!!!!
Oh, and deleted Dr. Fraiman's Twitter account, too, in addition to the links to reporting on his statement.
It's like the ground swallowed him up and a bunch of crazy people are just talking about something that never existed.
Maybe it didn't.
Who were we talking about again?
Oh wow. I didn't realize that!! Thank you
Who knew that overlords could be so efficient.😒
lol

Don't feed the beast. I respectfully disagree, but then again, I have never taken any money on my blogs. The money thing creates a different dynamic.

Well said.
Great, I just subscribed to you on rumble. 👍🏼💫 Let's not give fascist censoring platforms any more traffic!

I heard Gab has censored somebody. I don't remember the details now but there was something... I could be wrong, I'll have to check.
I sure hope not, perhaps I need to check further. Word Press tried to censor Jon Rappaport and a Buch of us left. They caved in and restated him when a bunch of us left.
I was able to see it in time, Thank you
Thank you, Tessa, for the interview with Dr Garia. You are doing important work.
Thank you!!!
You have a big heart and a strong fighting spirit. I'm glad I found you on substack.
Thank you!!
love you
