Allegedly, Good News About the WHO
Time will tell but the update feels good.
According to James Roguski, the U.S. amendments submitted to the WHO didn’t work out. That’s very positive news!!
That said, I remain a suspicious peasant because I think that until we address the root existential issue and stop being an arrogant, algorithmic civilization, we are not out of the woods— even though on the individual level, we can maneuver and create islands of very good life for ourselves, with some effort.

UPDATE: Reuters claims that the U.S. effort is moving along. It is unclear as of this second if they are blowing smoke and “celebrating” the fact that renegotiating the terms is still on the table (it is, in more ways than one), or whether a treacherous development has slipped through the cracks.
Countries have agreed to an initial U.S.-led push to reform of the rules around disease outbreaks, known as the International Health Regulations, after early opposition from Africa and others was overcome this week, sources told Reuters on Friday.
