As disturbing as it is to contemplate, the Farber stuff makes perfect sense. Given the connection at the hip between Silicon Valley and the State intelligence apparatus one has to assume that everything (as in all communication) has been closely monitored every step of the way. Every Facebook post monitored, every tweet collected, every email examined (all with AI tools) so that everyday people organizing any sort of civil disobedience can quickly be "led" by the appropriate undercover agents and provocateurs for the job. To expect anything less would be to ignore the long sordid history of such behavior, from COINTELPRO to Operation Gladio to the endless false-flag "War on Terror" attacks with their conveniently dead patsies who always leave their passport for easy identification - right on the heels of the "training exercise simulation" of exactly what took place.

Clearly we must find ways to 'act together' - but just as clearly we cannot place our trust in so called "leaders" or "spokespersons" as the odds are dangerously high those individuals are simply the usual undercover State actors. The more things change - the more they remain the same - as the saying goes.

Correct! Find ways to decentralize....our systems and our heroes. Lots of things that need to be changed...in your county and city. The authoritarians are conceding ground in alot of areas like homeschooling and private healthcare. Find a spot and dig in.

Things are going to go ugly. Real ugly. As we've never seen before in history. The Empire will fall but will bring the whole house down with itself. The jabs give us a foretaste. They are killing millions of people and they are going to kill more. What's going to happen with the food industry next is also not going to be very nice. Their technological arrogance is going to be their doom but then it'll look very much like a cancer within vital organs. Things will go always further into self destruction. In a way we are witness to the suicide of our world. It was about time to be sure, but the damages are going to be beyond words.

I keep praying for the kindest resolution. We'll know with time how things unfold, but I think it's worth it to put energy into kindness (and common sense, of course, and best protections for us). Togetherness is perhaps the most important thing!

I tend to agree. There will be good and bad about all of this. I saw slogans early on during these last two weeks to flatten the curve that said, "1984 wasn't supposed to be a training manual". I will go one further: The TV Show "The Walking Dead" wasn't supposed to be a training film... or was it?

That the Canadian Convoys were infiltrated (if true) doesn't at all alter the fact that what happened was an outpouring of MASSIVE popular support. I don't think the infiltrators planned on that. Second--big movements are almost always infiltrated. That's nothing new at all. As you say, what matters is that people actually experienced hope, and saw the canadian govt for what it is.

In the Gulag Archipelago, Part IV, chapter I, The Ascent, Solzhenitsyn writes that the mental need and desire to survive was all that kept so many of the "campers" going.

"Just not to perish from the disaster! It had to be survived."..."If I only manage to survive--oh, how differently, how wisely, I am going to live! The day of our future release? It shines like a rising sun! And the conclusion is: Survive to reach it! Survive! At any price!...One's order to oneself, "Survive!", is the natural splash of a living person. Who does not wish to survive? Who does not have the right to survive? Straining all the strength of our body! An order to all our cells: Survive!"

According to him, there were very few suicides, much fewer than a normal person would expect under the circumstances. Given the choice to end it all quickly or to suffer through extended periods of torture, pain, starvation, cold, deprivation, brutality, etc., most of the people chose to stay alive. This is analogous to Jim Stockdale's statement.

“This is a very important lesson. You must never confuse faith that you will prevail in the end—which you can never afford to lose—with the discipline to confront the most brutal facts of your current reality, whatever they might be.”

Furthermore, in Man's Search for Meaning, Viktor Frankl, himself a survivor of Hitler's concentration camp regime, said this.

“Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms — to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way.”

At my age and with the growing desire to step into my next life, I am not sure how I would respond under that kind of pressure. Nobody does...until they have been there.

yup, there is also in the USA, the NDAA which was passed in 2011 and means an American be indefinitely detained without being charged and now with the Dept of Homeland Security's Feb. 2022 saying they can call anyone a terrorist, this is extremely dangerous... Bret and Heather talked about this on Dark Horse podcast...I have been very upset... and a friend and I decided to pray and ask the universe, God, Goddess, All That Is for a SOLUTION FOR ALL OF THIS... and also asking for PROTECTION for the truckers, American truckers and others... seems like all we can do ... blessings. from the ACLU when they actually protected Americans, about the NDAA, https://www.aclu.org/press-releases/president-obama-signs-indefinite-detention-bill-law

a few observations and a question:

1. Canada is just a test - as are many other places around the world. The WEF are tweaking their plan in real time to see what works, based on social media response. They are clever and realize that one plan may work in one country, but not in another. I believe that depending on what happens in Canada, they will try it in some US regions. It stands to reason that those places will be the ones with the worst fascism at the moment: Oregon, NYC, San Francisco.

2. These people are sociopaths and project their narcissistic worldview onto us. I wrote a piece on this to start the new year on a (very guardedly) optimistic note and I still think we have the lead in this race even though it feels that we don't https://newyorkmusicdaily.wordpress.com/2022/01/01/numbers/

3. re: the truckers, I don't mean to be harshly critical because the great majority of them are heroes, but, WTF where they thinking when they used Gofundme. Or any surveillable electronic funding scheme. At this point in history any time you leave an electronic paper trail for finances, you are asking for trouble. Cash and barter is the only option now.

4. Would be interested in any intel you have on the impact of Chernobyl on the fall of the Soviet Union. Gorbachev was quoted as saying that it bankrupted the country - liquid argon (used to cool the still-steaming reactors) is not cheap.

There appear to be at least two groups "leading" the convoy protest. One is self-appointed and seems to be tied to GoFundMe dollars but has no apparent credibility with protesters. The other is the more legitimate group that includes doctors et al that are not johnny-come-latelies to the anti-covid resistance. BTW Have you seen any evidence that any truckers received any of the crowd-fund money?

I align in peace for the living, and see among others in the 'non compliant' are many who still live from a sense of grievance, conflict, and vengeance. And those some who take or seek roles of activist organiser in the sense of rousing by reference to hates or evils as a means to 'moralise'. Well I accept it is part of a larger process, but they do not speak for me. Whether there are infiltrators or an active buying or capture of 'leaders' must come up because history shows it is so. Mr Global wants to help seed movements he can both track and trace, but also control in ways that don't have to be overt.

How many scientists seek and find what their funding sources would not want to be published? Yet theu all think they are impartial.

The spokespersons being fake would explain Justin's unwillingness to negotiate with them.

Nevertheless, without genuine spokespersons, without someone to talk to, the Freedom convoy may be doomed. There needs to be more protests, blockades, and strikes. That requires organizing. How does an organic movement organize itself? What can be learned from the failure of the Occupy movement? Occupy was also decentralized and had no real spokespersons.

Expand full comment

An organic or creative process is aborted by the intent to 'organise' - yet even this is like all mistakes a part of learning. Structure dominates the minds of all who identify in it. The capacity to align in heart's truth and live a true witness is a path of discernment that is lost to any kind of 'groupthink'. So yes this is spiritual responsibility - which of course requires a miracle. Fortunately you are a miracle, and so your being has what your doing is trained to usurp and thereby block.

Its a crash course but the primary qualification I see is to give willingness to accept it - to be open to being truly moved, and to honour the life within as the synchronicity without.

Yes, it's a paradox!! Leadership from the heart is a different thing from "management," which is intrinsically taylorist. But in real life, with so many egos, it is very hard to "organize" a movement because people are people, and the entire spectrum of emotions pays out. It's a dance for which there is probably no formula at all! I sincerely think that such thing are resolved only with constant prayer for wisdom, harmony, and guidance, supported by the willingness to work through the challenges and keep working through them until they are healed. Everything is a dance, including leadership!!

Expand full comment

We have entrained our mind to structure - as if a spontaneous leadership role means 'now I/you are the one who does (or should take) that role.

Learning when to come in, when to abide silent, is part of attunement to the one will that manifests coherency of being rather than the one ego in all that manifests fragmentation and ' All the king’s horses and all the king’s men' of attempts to force 'solutions' - or recreate a Humpty in the image of any particular ideal as to what a solution should be.

To be in the heart of a true connection can look like leading when it is in fact following, and can look like following when it is in fact leading. This is to say the equality revealed is not in form but in love by which forms, structure or rules serve a living quality of shared being. In that sense they become transparent to love. As an instrument to the flow, our shift of awareness is to being the flow.

Words cannot say what love is, but guided by love give witness and share living culture. A foundation not made by Man (our thinking).

Binra's words beautifully destroy "leader", "follower", "organise", all of which are concepts that defeat immediately their own intent--> to somehow improve our lot by binding ourselves together in common thought/action. This is precisely what constitutes the status quo, organization vs. organization vs. organization....

Fighting fire with fire only guarantees greater all-consuming destruction. Only water (& lots of it) extinguishes fire. If not by water, fire can only die by total consumption of all available fuels.

The real battle is not "out there". The fire burns us from within. We alone in ourselves fuel it. Love is water. Fighting is not Love. Yes, this might appear to be advocating "submission to external despotic forces" but, as long as we are focused on battling these we remain distracted from the burning of our own house.

Came to this after just writing on leader and follow above!

If we have a party and afterwards you are moved to wash up and I to sort out trash and clear the space - we have each taken initiatives for and within a relational whole. Roles can become substitutes for - rather than expressions of - belonging, participance, love in action.

I agree on not feeding the fire of discontent, but first we have to recognise our discontent from the situation that inflames or triggers our reaction. Then we can have freedom instead of a self-protective reaction set in some past associations that are part of why we are triggered to an attack/defence reaction. Not giving further attention to old habit of thought that doesn't serve my true desire now is like starving a fire of oxygen, for what we resist, persists as an undercurrent to a sense of righteous judgement or rigid moral correctness. We are then made 'right' by some evil we are set against and unconsciously identified by.

I look to discern and join with the living, that is masked over or hidden by a realm of judgements and so am brought to recognise my judgements as a two edged sword!

I don't seek to destroy meanings that have becomes a source of meaninglessness as to redeem them back to original or living Meaning - which is indeed Within as the Unfoldment of being, here and now as Life - seen clearly or through a glass darkly.

When I look for love 'in the world' I forget and set myself up for pain of conflict and loss. You never were who I thought I wanted or needed you to be - but are whole, free and being your own gift of unfolding Meaning, for which I am grateful to share in. Fixing habits 'bottom out'. This is a ripening process within a field or constellations of willingness.

“But they are still mere mortals, and the universe uses their grand schemes to give us opportunities to learn about ourselves and to figure out how to live our best lives.” I love what you have written here, Tessa. It’s so important to remember that we don’t know, in our small human selves, what’s “right” or “wrong” when it comes to the flow of the whole picture. What I have experienced directly many times is that energy I’m radiating comes back to me, and if something appears that feels like it doesn’t reflect that, it’s also a part of me that I’m not seeing IF I JUDGE IT. I may feel inspired to take action due to something on the outside, but the real change can only come from inside. A wise man I know said, “Fall in love with yourself and radiate that.” Loving what is…the simple message from Byron Katie. What a gift it is to be alive, to have chosen to physically exist NOW. Thank you for all that you’re radiating ♥️
