The question always these days is: "Is it a machine pretending to be a person, or a person acting like a machine?"

In either case, the answer is to disengage.

Exactly!!

Yes I've seen "it" on other stacks. And there are ppl pretending to be bots who flood these substacks with exactly the same pattern of respond/attack. I just called one out yesterday big time. I had noticed this "person" had an encyclopedic knowledge and would take on rigorous debate, then align with them, then 360 degree attack...and almost stalk other commenters! to an insane degree without pause. But when other "real" ppl dismissed them outright intellectually, the "BOT-Person" crumbled like a baby (took the victimised position) tying to lure them back on sympathy vote, reverse psychology "Oh I didn't mean that at all..." So I'd had enough of it - it's so rude to the hosts too. Good thing is, now that $chaos agent knows I am on to them.

Well, I engaged out of curiosity and this is what happened:

"Me: What are you? Who created you? What purpose or agenda do you serve?

It: three agendas.

god

truth

and

justice"

This is all so weird. Interestingly, it did not respond to the first two questions and thus did not deny being non-human. I also find it interesting that "god" wasn't capitalized. I would think any human believer would capitalize God, right? What's the game here? And why is this game worth someone's time and energy? I don't know what would go into creating our anti-woke bot, but it seems to me this would take some effort. Why?

It takes a lot less effort than you realize

I’m admittedly completely ignorant on the subject.

I don't know of any Trump supporters who use "MAGA" when they write posts. The wording used is suspect, regular folk don't write/speak that way.

Reminds me of the Chappelle skit about Juicy Smollett.

"Does that sound like how white people talk? . . . It sounds like something that I would say!"

Expand full comment

Yes!😂😂😂

As a member of the #Cubans4Trump "club" I can assure you I'd never randomly use MAGA as was done in the screenshots provided in this post. They need to get more creative 😉

Just to shortly add something from perspective of computer science. Whole digital communication has been long time ago heavily compromised. Even if you see the person profile picture and trust his profile, you don't know who is using this profile. Someone can be at his keyboard or using his phone instead of him, or he can just copy paste few snippets. This whole concept of digital discussion is long overdue and if you still trust in online messages you are fool. If you want to truly verify person identity, ask for phone call on real number. Hear the person speaking and you will understand if it's robot or person. Similarly you can tell from which country he or she is and verify in which location - outside inside next to cars and so on. This is the way and when more people will understand that it will be better.

Wait a minute, Hannah Williams doesn't like me because I am funny? Why else would Hannah be liking my snarky comments from 6 months ago, if not for my amazing wit?

A variation of the old "Show up in comments/replies, agree with whatever reasonable point was made, and then say something ludicrous or hateful, so as to make people doubt the reasonable point, routine."

That's like: I imagine there are "fake VAERS reports" but were they created by antivaxxers or were they created by the very people wanting to discredit the VAERS reports?

Your comment reminds me of one of Gonzalo's latest videos:

He's living in Ukraine, btw, and his perception of the conflict has been quite interesting.

That was a good video, and he's right. If you haven't found yourself at odds here on Substack with people, then there is something wrong. And you definitely should not agree with everything I (or anyone else says.

I like to be challenged. Tonight, someone on Twitter (ironically named Jim) fully ensconced in the narrative was giving me links to stories dealing with how "Covid is still the #1 cause of death in the United States" , and I decided to go through each of the articles showing that I was serious about reading what he had for me.

The second article introduced to me was this one by the (SSSSSSSSSSSSSShocking) Washington Post.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/health/2023/04/16/covid-deaths-per-day/

Expand full comment

"...[A] leading cause of death..." and "...the #1 cause of death..." are similar statements, but not the same. I suspect that "Cause Unknown" deaths rank higher than COVID deaths in most if not all areas these days. And we all know what the unknown cause is.

It's aggravating that a person can die from obvious reasons, and afterwards be tested for covid, but no one will bother to ask and disclose if and how many COVID "vaccines" they took. The whole Damar Hamlin debacle was utterly outrageous. The lab rats themselves should be clamouring for answers, for any celebrity who falls out, on or off camera, as these "vaccine" trials continue with a suspicious lack of follow-up.

On a different note, I kinda wonder if COVID isn't actually the result of being targeted by some kind of directed energy weapon. I say this based on my experience of becoming SUDDENLY feverish one summer day, when driving past a stretch of property that belongs to one of those suspicious groups. The property is about a quarter mile square, mostly pasture looking, with a few large buildings in the center, and it belongs to the Masons. I drove another mile to my home, by then also feeling achy, and bundled up and slept it off. A few hours later I was fine. Nothing like this had ever happened to me before, and this was in the summer of 2019. I know it sounds paranoid, but just thought I'd throw it out there.

Expand full comment

From what conspiracy theorists say on video, the Masons are a protected group, some believe they are actually the engineers of all that is going on. I have problems believing that and a lot of things. I think elsewhere on this comment thread is a video about "poisoning the well." Those of us who dissent cannot afford to not be on the alert all the time. I disagree that we can't trust anyone, but even those we trust can at times be duped and be wrong, I am among those.

Concerning your thoughts on energy weapons. Any time you exhibit odd symptoms the first thjng to question is if you recently had a change in diet, any medications you take, etc. You may have suddenly had a fever, and was fighting off some sort of infection. I don't know. At this point, a lot of stuff that I wasn't open to at least considering, I am open to considering.

In October of 2021, I thought I was suffering from food poisoning. I was weak, nauseous, and had trouble getting out of bed. The internet confirmed it. I thought of calling a teledoc, but sadly convinced myself it was food poisoning...until my left leg reddened and got heavy. I finally was diagnosed with diabetic cellulitis. They gave me regimens of antibodies, and finally after realizing the battle was a losing one, my leg was amputated below the knee. I greatly simplified what happened here.

I took one brief try in Notes and immediately ran away in horror. It destroys the best part of Substack, the fenced-off two-way connection between subscribers and writers. Notes is just one more place where bullies and fight-starters can create chaos.

Hmmm. Yes.

I wrote about that in my essay about Peterson's ARC being a cabal construct. The importance of paying attention to those whose energy are creating division and camps. *That* is the energy of the cabal, and is to be avoided at all costs.

That particular exchange you have shown looks to me like someone using AI software to simulate an human with artificial sympathy. I have 'someone' (some'thing' ?) posting on my substack occasionally too that I suspect is a chaos maker. Might be human. I've seen that he has posted identical posts somewhere else. In that case, likely a bot.

Expand full comment

yes I've come across that too, the copying bot

Expand full comment

First of all, I like Peterson, and would be happy to be in his camp, unless the leader of the other camp was Jesus Christ Himself.

Secondly, Jesus Christ Himself admitted that He came to bring division: Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division:For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three. The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the mother in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. - Luke 12:51-53 http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Luke12:51-53&version=KJV

Division is inevitable. Sheep and goats, wheat and tares, grain and chaff. And since it is inevitable, please make sure you do what is necessary to be on the favored side. Shalom.

Thanks for the heads up. I have not come across that one yet myself, but I did have another one called "Hannah Williams" blow up my notifications on here a while back.

Some kind of new counter intelligence "sock puppets" being unleashed using AI "language models" to sow discord and division perhaps?

" I did have another one called 'Hannah Williams' blow up my notifications on here a while back."

Curiously they seem to favor profile pix of glossy-magazine-attractive, pouty-faced young women.

Expand full comment

I had the "Hannah Williams" experience and I briefly changed my profile to "Hannah Williams" to throw "it" off the scent. I don't know the inner workings of Substack to understand how a user's personal data is linked to a user profile and whether doing this had any effect although "Hannah" hasn't been liking my posts lately.

I have no doubt that the original "Hannah Williams" is an AI bot and that its comment liking activity is a form of data mining. Botnets are a "thing" and are used steal cryptocurrency and to mine personal data, among other nefarious purposes.

As Substack has been designated by the ADL among others as a "hotbed of extremism", it doesn't surprise me that state-affiliated actors may be using bots for this purpose. It would be great if a wealthy Substack partisan with an IT background (Steve Kirsch, for example) looked into the activity towards developing bot awareness and an anti-bot strategy.
