Oh this fighting is a grind though and right now I'm tired. 96% of victorians over the age of 16 are now Jabbed and there are walls closing in on me and my children. I could go on but saving my strength for the next round.

Sad to hear, but also great to know that there are still people fully prepared to stand on principle. Well done.

It may sound a bit morbid... but as I heard one dear lady say at the very beginning of this that boosted my courage: "There are things worse than death." Stand firm. Stay strong the best you can and focus on the things you *can* do. It's hard, but don't let the frustration about the things you have no control over get you down. Every time we resist, no matter how insignificant it may seem, we win. All of us together doing *something* really does make a difference. It's when we give up that the monsterous agenda gets the upper hand.

IpExactly, was it Catherine Austin Fitts?

Well, here's a thought: it's going to get worse before it gets better. Still, it's our fight to win.

Does that depress us? Don't let it. Now is a good time to take a break; to marshal our strength; to build up our defenses; to work on our parallel structures; to build relationships that will stand the test; to gather the resources we will need to flourish, the great art, music, literature that we need to bolster us; to secure our supplies for self and family/community sufficiency.

This is the important work that prepares us for what's ahead of us, but also that keeps fear at bay, and not just fear, but despair.

I took great comfort and learning from a woman whom I thought as exceptionally wise: Elisabeth Elliot. When faced with the tragedy of her husbands' (yes, several of them) deaths, she explained how she was able to go on, to recover, to heal. A paraphrase: "Do the next thing, do what's in front of you.

We get weary, we rest, we recoup and then, "Once more unto the breach, dear friends..."

Excellent. My Grandmother on my Dad's side lived until she was 102. She lost both of her sons, 3 of her grandchildren, her husband and every friend she ever had in her life before she died. I asked her how she could deal with all of that. She said, "Well, I cry a lot. But I *make* every day a good day." I miss her dearly. But her example lives on in me.

I'm certain that we'll prevail. I mean that sincerely, not as an expression of false bravado or just hopeful/wishful thinking. Nor is it a Pollyanna vision, as the damage yet to be done by the authoritarians may be immense.

My certainty comes from one simple truth. We ARE free. That is an unassailable ontological fact of our existence. We were made free. That principle was DECLARED in 1776, not asserted or argued. All of humanity was invited to share in the fruits of that realization, and it has changed the world forever.

Like others, I fear for our children. Will they grow up in a world where freedom is brutalized and beaten down, where it is seldom seen, rarely tasted? Maybe. But I don't think so. It may be that they will live in a hybrid world. Where freedom is here, but not there. Where the powerful punish its expression, though they cannot extinguish it. But I think rather that we're like Europe in 1942 or 1943. We know the victory will come, but how many will fall in the struggle?

What I'm saying is that freedom cannot be extinguished. Its nature does not permit it. Think of your Soviet upbringing. Did anyone have to teach you to yearn for freedom, or was that a natural longing? In a society where the habits and structures of freedom were suppressed and distorted, did it require some improbable fluke of nature for the longing after it to appear in the hearts of children? What the heart knows, the mind will come to understand. And what the mind grasps cannot fail to appear in the world if it is true. Freedom is true. We must all hold to that realization in the midst of the battle.

As for the battle, I think it is not as dark as it could have been or as it appeared even a few months ago. I think the would-be masters made a fatal error of overreach. They sprung their trap too soon and it misfired. They can never make us unsee what we've seen, and far more of their malfeasance may yet be made visible, perhaps soon. There are too many of us, and we've built a beachhead that they cannot overrun. This will forever hamper them in their plans. I think we've prevented their victory, but the big question is whether we can ensure ours.

"We ARE free. That is an unassailable ontological fact of our existence." It's true but as we (I) are so often heavily identified with our body in the physical it is hard to lift one's eyes to the inner truth. Thanks

When you have nothing more to lose you will fight until the bitter end. Covid has taken so much from me. I'm really quite angry at how I and others like me have been treated; locked out of society, fired, evicted and generally shunned even through we are right. When this house of cards finally crumbles and msm headlines say: PANDEMIC A SCAM, JABS DO NOTHING BUT MAKE YOU SICKER I'm going to be expecting some grovelling. How dare they! I hope some serious lessons are learnt from all this.

Dear Tessa, thank you for bringing much needed heart and soul into your reportage of current events.

When we study the ancient energy cycles (i.e. the Vedic and Mayan cycles) we can see that we are indeed in a very special time - you are spot on!

"I believe that this is a spiritual challenge and an opportunity for clarity."

Yes, absolutely! We are being tested on a spiritual level right now, everything is a test (!) - we are going through a rite of passage. It's the darkness vs. the Light process that always happens during major transitions (this is what the ancients tell us about such times).

We are presently in the final 10 years (between 2022 and 2032) of a 26,000 year energy cycle - the energy of the old cycle is winding down to it's lowest point causing consciousness to drop very low which is why darkness has been rising and a lot of people seem to be so asleep ...

It's up to us to keep our consciousness high (through truth), our hearts warm (thank you!) and our souls alive! (more details on my site).

I really love the tone of your substack, your personal color. I heard from Martin Shaw, a storyteller from the UK, that romanticism can be activism, and I totally agree. You honor that stance very well. There's a mix of tenderness, spirituality, and utter lucidity in your writting, it is very touching. Thank you.

On another note, as I was reading through the comment section here, it seems you attract that type of crowd, tender, spiritual and very lucid. Keeping all this in balance is quite a challenge. I feel like I could be friend with so many of the people here.

Here's to, as C.S. Lewis so well put it , " our shimmering aliveness", here's to our togetherness, to this collective field made of our beautiful, luminous, longing hearts.

"I also believe that as long as we don’t let them scare us, there is great hope".

Absolutely! I am seeing a lot of comments on some posts around that sound fearful and "giving up". That is *exactly* what these social engineers want. To be successful they absolutely have to keep the people compliant, depressed and in fear. We must remember that they can do *nothing* without our consent. This is something that has been completely lost on most of the populace in the last few years. Choose courage and stay strong!

Oh, there's a lot to say today... https://www.johndayblog.com/2022/02/stand-and-smile.html

Our economic life support system's check-engine-light has been on for about two and a half years now. A whole slew of codes come up on the diagnostic port.

The usual mechanic says we need to sign the title over to him before he can fix it and give us the keys back.

We are dubious. We have gone to the Auto Zone and gotten the printouts of all the diagnostic codes. We're considering our options. It still runs poorly, but sports lapsed inspection and registration stickers, so we're keeping a low profile.

Rulers govern with the consent of the governed, which consent is lapsing in bits and pieces, for non-performance, for repeatedly violating the "social contract".

Politicians in "western democracies" usually serve the owners by talking the people into doing what the owners want.

There is usually some carrot for the people, but lately it is all-stick, no-carrot and a future which is illuminated by the promise to use the stick on those who don't go along with the good donkeys.

Those "Others" are making all the problems. Donkeys are fitted with blinders and are not permitted to converse about insurrection on social-media.

A bunch of donkeys are milling about in Canada without blinders, presenting an existential threat to the political-economic-life-support-system. They have stopped pulling their donkey carts. People will starve and freeze if the donkeys don't get their blinders back on and start pulling those carts again, PRONTO!

Measures are being taken. Donkeys have been given written notice in their inflatable bouncy-castles. Their bank accounts and donkey-cart insurance cancellations are proceeding. Donkeys will starve first. Certainly, nobody wants that? Donkeys are still braying in the streets. You just can't talk to donkeys. It's not worth trying. The owners need those carrots themselves. It's stick or nothing, Donkeys!

Some people are trying to bring some little carrots to the donkeys, but that's got to be stopped.

People and donkeys do not a life-support-system make. The owners are the critical ingredient.

You understand that, right?

What if the people and the donkeys refuse to make the life-support-system work?

Everybody, including donkeys will die. It's happened before, repeatedly.

You get it, right?

This is a critical point in time. The life support system is failing as supply lines are slowed and become hit-or-miss, intermittent.

The worst of the realization has not yet hit, but the mail is late, regular parts are on back-order for months, and there are no canned black olives at the grocery store.

Whatever the donkeys and people do now, the crumbling of the political-economy will continue, until...?

What happened last time? Oh, yeah, World War-2.

Well, that's off the list of options now...

It's off the list, right?

The owners need all of us people and donkeys to get back to the creaky carts and sparse stalls forever, no-questions-asked, or we will starve and freeze sooner, rather than later. We've always been able to trust them before, so we need to trust them now and in perpetuity. Implanting a remote-controlled kill switch is just an inviolable sign of our complete trust in our elected leaders and the important interests which they serve.

For people bringing carrots and donkeys playing hooky, the choices are to comply immediately and get a lighter-whipping, to riot in the streets and get killed because it's absolutely necessary as a last resort, or to stand there and smile and be pleasant and present and unmoving, and just keep doing that, because there are really not enough resources to arrest that many donkeys and people, and they cannot, apparently be recruited from the ranks of other donkeys and other people.

Seriously, this has got to stop.Donkeys and people have never, ever been able to come up with new economic solutions, ever, all of the times that this has happened in the past. It has always been to beneficent owners and their loyal elected representatives who have solved the life-support problems, and they will do it again, if we will only give them our unquestioning and eternal support; 110%, just like in football.

If we don't get back in line right away, our western political economy will pass a point of no-return (if it hasn't already) and the fault will be completely our own. We will have nobody but ourselves to blame; nobody but ourselves upon whom to rely for food, water, fuel and bouncy-castles.

We'll all be dead in five years. Mark my words!

That being said, I have a few carrots growing, and I planted some bush beans and tomato seeds yesterday, and I'm fixing up the inside of the homestead addition, which will be a good gathering place, sort of like The Restaurant at the End of the Universe https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Restaurant_at_the_End_of_the_Universe

Cat McGuire in New York and environs sends this article she wrote last weekend as she and some other people enjoyed taking supplies to Canadian truckers at the border. Cat is a real person, who even came and visited our Austin garden and had dinner a couple of times. Cat does things. Cat rides a bike, too.

Morgan said, “It was so exciting that we actually were boots-on-the-ground support for Canada’s freedom fighters. They have been such a personal inspiration to me that I galvanized everyone I know to get on board and support them.” She added, “Our two convoys brought a variety of supplies to the border that the Canadians specifically recommended to bring such as hand warmers, water, snacks, gas cards, hats, washer fluid, gloves, and blankets.” ...

It could not be confirmed at this time, but one of the local rally organizers informed the CTSA team that New York Governor Kathy Hochul had established a command control center in Buffalo and was in Buffalo herself the weekend of the rally.

Upstairs is done, and downstairs is underway, but 2/3 of downstairs will be painted "sheetrock". I'm building an oak staircase. All I have to do is avoid mistakes with this expensive wood. Regarding freezing the freedom convoy's donors' accounts, there is something else to be aware of.

Yesterday, I started receiving emails with "President Trump's friend requests" because according to the email I was "one of the first to pledge to join Trump social", whatever that means... Apparently, I was added to their system yesterday.

I then received an email from a local "freedom fighter" claiming he "got my email address and postal code from the leaked list of donors". He did not clarify how he got access to the hacked list (the hackers or the law enforcement/government agencies simply shared it with him?). He was inviting me to join their group of local "freedom lovers". I was so curious, I clicked on the link, but thought better of it and closed the page.

I am not sure if I should worry about a virus now or if it was some bait or provocation. None of it was smart, so I doubt government/law enforcement agencies are behind it, but you never know... Canada has become a very bizarre place...

Thanks. GiveSendGo is advising the donors that currently the bulk of the donated funds are in an undisclosed U.S. bank and the team is discussing the legal options for getting the funds to the intended recipients. I doubt the government will freeze the donors' accounts - they are probably just trying to discourage people from helping - but you can never be sure, so I think I will unload some more money, just in case the government is really planning to seize our accounts :-)

According to Freeland, they ARE freezing donors' accounts and will freeze more. Now, them saying something doesn't mean they are doing it en masse but she said it. Which of course means that the democracy is ... where exactly? On another planet? So shameful.
