This story was inspired by an interview with Facebook Board member Marc Andreessen.
It’s a very quick note on just how amazed I feel about the fact that… well, yes, they (i.e. BlackRock, Vanguard, etc.) really do want to take away our physical reality and replace it with nonsensical virtual “reality,” controlled and monetized in its entirety by… them. (And yes, I do believe that on a very high level, the attack on facts, biology, science, human contact, and common sense is tied to the campaign to undermine our connection to our senses and to our anchors in the physical world and to make us so confused that we let them steal our natural world without much struggle.)
”Hey, look, I was thinking… do you want to forget that you used to have access to all the joys in your real, physical world, hand the keys to your life and to your body off to us, and let us grab all the land and all the real estate while you are wearing goggles? No? LOOK PANDEMIC CLIMATE EMERGENCY WE ARE ALL GOING TO DIE!!!!!!”
Lots to say but I am trying to finish an important story, and so I am going to leave it at this. Watch Facebook Board member Marc Andreessen talk, and and feel awe.
What do you think, perhaps it’s time to take our reality back?
Oh, one more thing. When I saw that “reality privilege” interview, I immediately thought of another interview from an old documentary by John Pilger, in which a Coca Cola official expressed a similar sentiment, adjusted to sales goals of his time.
That guy talked about how people in developing countries obviously had nothing to look forward to in life besides an occasional can of Coke. (Or Pepsi? I might have screwed up the branding here, but the money goes to the same group of investors, so I don’t feel guilty.)
The world was so much better before Internet.
Poor, lowly morlocks. So far away we can't even see the glory of the Eloi.
