so glad you link back to the good stuff from 2020. i copied/pasted a bunch of stuff but it's on another machine. "Comfort is amazing but it’s only good in balance with joy." damn!
maybe i should just go through your archives, steal all the best lines and make them into a song. you get credit of course...
You did not need to elaborate on your selection of the cardinal at the top of your words. Cardinals are archetypes of our connection with the Spirit Universe. I know this from personal experience. My wife of 34 years died of cancer four years ago. She promised me that she would be my guardian angel from the "other side." Soon after her death, a female cardinal (Mrs. Cardinal) would randomly awaken me at my bedroom window. She never did this before. Never any other house window. She visited me for an entire year. Her visits remined me that love can be transcendent. Our souls are connected, here and beyond.
Thank you Tessa for another mind trickster of yours
We all have come with a destiny, BUT we also have the freedom to change it! They are humans now within us that have come with certain possibilities, but materialism, greed , money and lust have overcome them and misuse those powers granted to them from above. It happened before in our past and because we didn’t learn, repeats itself now. By the way, our Mother Earth is moving forward (evolving) and we better harry up, or else … Love is the answer.
You are Rockin it today Momma! Appreciate you Divine Tessa and your Gracious Vision of Life! Your Soul is Large and in Charge...! Oh Yes..! Wonderful Blessings from the Heart of Love... Free of the conditioning and constraints of Organized Religious thought.. Pure and penetrating... Healing.. Can't wait for your Next...your words need as large an audience as possible.. Would you mind if I cross post this..?
Tessa Berdyaev had his insights on evil. Freedom gives birth to evil as well as good. Therefore evil does not deny the existence of meaning, but rather confirms it. Freedom is not created, because it is not nature; freedom existed before the world began, it is rooted in immemorial nothingness. God is almighty over being, but not over nothingness, or over freedom.
Good and evil come from our communities. Good and evil are judgements by communities. It is worth noting that Adam, alone in the garden of Eden, could not break any of the commandments. Only when God arrived, creating the first community, could he break the first one. Most however required a larger community. Thou shall not kill requires at least a community of two. Adultery requires a community of at least three. As our communities grow and grow more complex, good and evil become more clearly defined, but also more variable. Some communities advise us to kill.
One of the biggest negative impacts of the "pandemic" protocols was the designed weakening and destruction of many communities. This is not new. Corporate communities have always wanted to "genocide" labour communities. Freedom to associate, to form communities was and still is a problem. Facebook started as a place to create communities of like minds. But with the pandemic, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, even YouTube communities were hacked and destroyed. This evil limits choices and thus limits our understanding of good and evil, often making the simplest discussions of good and evil verboten for many people and for many communities. We have a lot of rebuilding ahead.
A great paper again! By the way, we could have this little chat about gnosticism (and maybe some parallels in the modern world) anytime you feel like it. I could do this from my university studio. All the best.
No, no, there is no going back.
Less and less you are
that possibility you were.
More and more you have become
those lives and deaths
that have belonged to you.
You have become a sort of grave
containing much that was
and is no more in time, beloved
then, now, and always.
And so you have become a sort of tree
standing over the grave.
Now more than ever you can be
generous toward each day
that comes, young, to disappear
forever, and yet remain
unaging in the mind.
Every day you have less reason
not to give yourself away.
~ Wendell Berry ~

"I am calling from my deepest self
For love
I am calling from my deepest self
For love
I am calling from my deepest self
For love.
I am not smart
I don’t know about the future
All I have left to feel
Is breath
All I have left to give
Is love"
I love this so much. Tessa's poem.
