Tessa - welcome to the aquarian age! sorry you were subjected to divide and conquer at such an early age. i don't know anything about pre-soviet russian public education, but the 19th century american system was based on the prussian army of frederick the "great" and a lot of that has filtered down through the years. in my macho high school circles, it was the epitome of uncool to be academically successful (i.e. knowing how to work the system in order to get into a "good" college). i think one of the primary objectives of american public education - other than dumbing everyone down, creating a docile work force and an eager consumer base - is divide and conquer.
i don't see how a christian could object to communicating with ancestors, provided that we don't confuse an ancestral lineage with the ultimate creator.

I think there are many psyops in most if not all religions, and the attempt to cut people off from our connection to our roots is very much on purpose! We need our roots always.
at this point everything that can be weaponized has been weaponized and organized religion is at the top of the list (but disorganized religion is great!)

Thank you, Brother John! I think there are many, many aspects and layers to all this indeed. I think that at one of the highest / deepest levels is our human race learning and teaching love on a level of the entire universe.

There were about 100 people, and numerous couples, and a bit of whispering and note scribbling. I'm not sure how many silent retreats I've attended, but I seem to communicate with gestures, pointing, sequencing and facial expression pretty easily.
Some people had pressing medical issues to speak with me about, and a little bit of functional communication of necessity was ok, but it was just a few minutes a couple of times.

He spoke repeatedly of the critical times we are entering, when many will suffer and die, and that we cannot be inert, or "solitary saints", and that it is not about personal enlightenment, but enlightenment in order to be of compassionate service.
I more than thoroughly agree, and was glad he got into that right away.
I experienced extended periods of openness and clarity of mind, which felt as if I was experiencing it together with the others, especially yesterday, but shorter moments other days. He also specifically spoke of this, saying that he "knew" we were experiencing such.
I have to say that it was the most satisfying of all the retreats I have been part of in precisely those ways, the clarity of consciousness for extended periods, and the togetherness of it.
