Raging Against the Mafia: Federation of State Medical Boards
Protecting the interests of the owners of the pharmaceutical industry under the guise of patient safety
As I am writing this, I am filled with indignation. Why am I filled with indignation? Because, as I was researching the respectable predator, the organization called “Federation of State Medical Boards,” I looked and found a slanderous review of the brilliant and compassionate hero doctor, Dr. Meryl Nass. I am boiling!
Dr. Nass, whose license has been suspended by a medical board in her state for “spreading misinformation,” is a doctor you want if you are in a critical condition. In this surreal sea of darkness where by going to the hospital, you risk getting killed for nothing, she is a beacon of light. But currently, she cannot practice medicine because the GESTAPO says so—and according to the regulatory bandits, her “ability to practice constitutes immediate jeopardy to the health and physical safety of the public.” War is peace, and up is down.
Our guts and dignity and health and “patient rights” are being sold to the rats under the guise of “protecting us”—and this is why I am boiling. This corporate totalitarianism is humiliating us and endangering us!
What is the Federation of State Medical Boards?
The Federation of State Medical Boards is a private organization (just like the Federal Reserve) with a non-profit status whose official mission is very vaguely defined as “representing the state medical and osteopathic regulatory boards – commonly referred to as state medical boards – within the United States, its territories and the District of Columbia.”
It allegedly “supports its member boards as they fulfill their mandate of protecting the public’s health, safety and welfare through the proper licensing, disciplining, and regulation of physicians and, in most jurisdictions, other health care professionals.”
Sorry to go all Bill Clinton on you but what do those two words— “represent” and “support” actually mean? In what capacity, and by what authority, does this influential group represent and support state medical boards?
”The FSMB serves as a national voice for state medical boards, supporting them through education, assessment, data, research and advocacy while providing services and initiatives that promote patient safety, quality health care and regulatory best practices.”
A national voice, I see.
Major pushers of censorship
Not only is the Federation of State Medical Boards an influential force for censoring doctors—to please the owners of the pharmaceutical industry—but they also have the nerve to wrap their mafia-like maneuvers in “patience safety” language!
Have a hankie and a bucket ready? Then please take a look at their Orwellian intro, as they make a case for censoring doctors and healthcare practitioners with dissenting opinions:
Truthful and accurate information is central to the provision of quality medical care. It is instrumental for obtaining informed consent from patients and supports the trust that patients hold in the medical profession. Honesty, truthfulness and transparency are virtues that society expects of all health professionals, and they are traits that are indispensable to physicians carrying out their professional responsibilities and interacting with patients and the public. False information is harmful and dangerous to patients, and to the public trust in the medical profession, especially when licensed physicians disseminate misinformation or disinformation about a disease or illness, including its prevention, management or treatment.
The bucket! The bucket!! Then, under the same breath and in the same document, issued in April 2022 (!!!), they continue:
Shortly after the declaration of the COVID-19 pandemic by the World Health Organization on March 11, 2020, the FSMB’s Board of Directors adopted a statement in support of the value of face masks to limit the aerosolized transmission of the SARS-CoV2 virus. “Wearing a face covering is a harm-reduction strategy to help limit the spread of COVID-19,” the statement said on October 6, 2020, “especially since physical distancing is not possible in health care settings. When seeing patients during in-person clinical encounters, physicians and physician assistants have a professional responsibility to wear a facial covering for their own protection, as well as that of their patients and society as a whole.” The statement was prompted by reports from a number of state medical boards receiving complaints regarding physicians and physician assistants failing to wear face coverings during patient care or casting doubt with patients and the public about their effectiveness.
It is like claiming to protect you from thirst by making sure that there are no wells and no rivers, and no one carrying water can come near you!
By the way, a great expose of the FSMB was written by Suzanne Burdick on CHD, please check it out. It features my dear friend, the brave doctor Emanuel Garcia in New Zealand who, just like Dr. Meryl Nass, deserves all the love in the world.
(And if you are in the mood for propaganda, here is a toxic bite of it from Politico).
The FSMD likes lobbying. Like, really likes lobbying. According to ProPublica, the list of agencies it lobbies since 2010 includes the following:
U.S. Senate, House of Representatives, Centers For Disease Control & Prevention (CDC), Centers For Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Food & Drug Administration (FDA), Health & Human Services - Dept of (HHS), Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA), Substance Abuse & Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), Agency for Health Care Policy & Research, Office of Natl Drug Control Policy (NDCP), Veterans Affairs - Dept of (VA), White House Office, Defense - Dept of (DOD), Natl Institutes of Health (NIH), Executive Office of the President (EOP), Federal Trade Commission (FTC), Government Accountability Office (GAO), Justice - Dept of (DOJ), Defense - Dept of (DOD), Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Homeland Security - Dept of (DHS), U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), Office of the Vice President of the United States, Office of Science & Technology Policy (OSTP), Indian Health Service, Office of Personnel Management (OPM), Transportation - Dept of (DOT), Education - Dept of, Substance Abuse & Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).
A partial list of bills:
By the way, ProPublica alone lists multiple combinations of lobbying firms and efforts that FSMB is involved in (here and here, for example). They work with external firms and also have in-house lobbyists working with other clients on projects of interest. They have even lobbied in relation to the National Defense Authorization Act (2012)!
History of FSMB:
The organization was created in 1912, on the tail of the 1910 Flexner report that was commissioned by the Rockefeller interests and used as a pretext for a major power grab that “unified” the American (and then international) medical industry under the boot of the likes of the Rockefellers.
Here is from my earlier Dr. Mercola article about the Flexner Report:
Abraham Flexner is considered the ‘father’ of modern medical education
The 1910 Flexner Report laid the foundations of the modern medical system, dubbed “Rockefeller medicine”
Since that time, the corporate interests have established near total control of the medical field, both though pharmacology and through their impact on medical education
In the first part of the 20th century, the Rockefeller and Carnegie lobbies were up to their ears in eugenics, and it’s very unlikely that they have since reformed
During the past two years, the toxicity of the “Rockefeller medicine” have become more obvious to all
The sources of FSMB’s funding seem to be veiled in secrecy.
Dr. Paul Martin Kempen provides more insight into the FSMB and says:
Despite the implications of its name, the Federation of State Medical Boards, Inc. (FSMB), like the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) and its 24 affiliates, is not a governmental authority. None of these entities have official legislative or regulatory power afforded by any federal or state government.1 FSMB, however, uses its contacts and influence with state medical boards (SMBs) to advance its corporate products. This may be called ‘crony capitalism.’
Adding this section as an update. In 1995, the Federation of State Medical Board issued a document that channeled their anxiety over the market competition from holistic practitioners. It looks like they have since removed the document from their website.
Here is a comment from Dr. Bradford Weeks:
Dr. Bruce Dooley, an American doctor in New Zealand
Recently, a brave American doctor currently living in New Zealand exposed the role of the Federation of State Medical Boards, an American organization, as a pusher of corruption and censorship in international medicine, including in New Zealand. This is a must-watch video:
In conclusion, I’d like to say that yes, our world is run like a mafia. It is run by mafia minds, using mafia techniques. But it is only this way because we have allowed ourselves to be isolated from other people and from our own souls. We need our souls and each other to prevail. Together, we are stronger than any mafia. May the mafia be afraid of us, not the other way around.
