I imagine they will attempt to implement similar laws here in Canada soon (as Blackrock and Vanguard will want to get their hands on the vast farmland here as well). If the farmer's presence with heavy machinery in Ottawa was any indication of how they might react to such laws, things could get pretty intense here.
Focusing on taking steps to be able to grow and preserve more of my own food/medicine (and helping others to be able to do the same) is seeming more and more imperative each day.
