This is beautiful Tessa. I am not very versed in the Bible, and though I think there is deep meaning in the Christian mythos, and I want to defend it, I think Christianity's history and its doctrines must be reformed through commentary, some of it very outraged. Instead, I take Bob Dylan's A Hard Rain's Gonna Fall as my text for this time. "I saw a highway of diamonds with nobody on it" So you are calling us all to that highway, and that is lovely and consoling.

Thank you Cynthia!!! Your words are beautiful. And I think that letting go of dogma is in the cards for all people, whether it's in this life or in the afterlife.

A Russian joke from my teen years: The person dies and goes to heaven. So he keeps walking around, and it's beautiful, and then he sees a wall. "What's there?" he asks. "Ah. that's a section for Christians," he gets the response. "They want to think that they are the only ones in heaven!" :)

First it’s the shared fantasy. Once you know, you go. Nothing with the (narcissist/abuser) is real. All simulation. Your mind is the key, as in “ Free your mind; the rest will follow”. Check out Sam Vankin: 7 Phases of shared fantasy why the narcissist needs you. THEY cannot actualize any (false) reality without us. It’s how they/it works. You change your mind and turn and walk away, and if you can be big about it, bring in God and fill the drivers seat and then you are shotgun and there is no room for baloney. If you can…as it really is ALL in your mind. To ‘Repent’ means ‘to change your mind’ in the Greek metanoia which word imagery connotes ‘to change your mind and turn and walk in companionship with’ God. And that is the summation of the Christ, who admonished, “Walk ye this way; walk ye in The Way with Me” and His followers were known as the people of The Way. All love and truth. Holy.

Tyrants cannot take away love, generousity, selflessness, compassion. They cannot stop the birds from singing, nor the plants from running their course from Spring through Fall. They cannot make us hate. We can choose to even love and forgive them and it will bewilder them. But it will empower us.

Thank you dear, Lisa for saying in few words the reality of many if not most relationships in this country and around the world encouraged by the CABAL and their socialization and brainwashing techniques through the social media, gender conditioning or gender affirming socialization, and mental health and religious organizations, as well as the movie and television industries (codependency with empath vs, narcissist, sociopath or psychopath). Christine Northrup, MD talks about and wrote a very interesting book about this subject and if you wish to hear about it from a sociopath who is high functioning, tune into HG Tudor and his videos. This is especially useful if you do not believe this exists or know and are stuck in the actual dynamic with a loved one!

I'm not religious (I also grew up in the USSR so I'm 'Bible illetarate') but what I've learned in the past few years is that my dignity, courage and love in holding the line were the outcome of my unwavering innate Faith. In fact, I see Faith as a common denominator of this nobel trinity (Dignity, Courage and Love). I used to confuse faith with dogma, fortunately I humbly learned that they have nothing in common. I also met a beautiful Coptic monk in Egypt who was a human embodiment of Inner Peace. Just wanted to share this... And thank you for voicing this complex subject so beautifully!

Upon finishing this beautiful reading, for some inexplicable reason, I raced to revisit This is Water, the iconic David Foster Wallace’s 2005 Kenyon address. Fresh eyes see afresh 😊

🗨 "learning how to think" really means learning how to exercise some control over how and what you think. It means being conscious and aware enough to *choose* what you pay attention to and to *choose* how you construct meaning from experience. Because if you cannot exercise this kind of choice in adult life, you will be totally hosed.

🗨 There is no such thing as not worshipping. Everybody worships. The only choice we get is *what* to worship. And the compelling reason for maybe choosing some sort of god or spiritual-type thing to worship [...] is that pretty much anything else you worship will eat you alive. If you worship money and things, if they are where you tap real meaning in life, then you will never have enough, never feel you have enough.[...] On one level, we all know this stuff already. It's been codified as myths, proverbs, clichés, epigrams, parables; the skeleton of every great story. The whole trick is keeping the truth up front in daily consciousness.

🗨 The really important kind of freedom involves attention and awareness and discipline, and being able truly to care about other people and to sacrifice for them over and over in myriad petty, unsexy ways every day. That is real freedom.[...] The alternative is unconsciousness, the default setting, the "rat race," the constant gnawing sense of having had, and lost, some infinite thing.

Then there is the 2021 movie. Enemies within the Church. The Chinese desire to eliminate religion to overthrow America.

Surprisingly (or not), freedom of religion is a very new thing in America. It started in 1978 when the American Indian Religious Freedom Act was passed (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_Indian_Religious_Freedom_Act). Prior to that, it was illegal for the original people of this land to practice spiritual traditions of their families and their ancestors. Most people don't know that, and it's a shame. Without the whole truth, how can we talk about anything?

Chief Sitting Bull at Powder Ridge Counsel all boils down to the Sacred. THIS IS HOLY. Christ admonished to “Be ye Holy, as your Father in Heaven is Holy” and it’s a mindset of taking all thoughts into captivity for review. Judge yourself. Truth is adherence.

What I am saying is that the Chinese leader may very well desire make religious faith irrelevant in America or elsewhere but wobbliness of freedom on the inside, as evidenced by the fact that America had no freedom of religion until 1978, is the real problem, just like "germ" and "terrain." The problem is the domination, the flavor of domination is secondary!

Speaking of bloodsucking vampires, I was wondering if the techno/fascists and the intellectuals from MIT like Chomsky who attended monthly meetings with Epstein all consumed pints of fresh nubile blood, attended "eyes wideshut parties," or discussed the humanitarian need to implant a "fitbit" device

into Homo sapien brains. 🤔

I may have recommended it before, but it bears repeating: read Havamal and Voluspa, maybe Grimnirsmal and a couple of others too.

In those there wisdom is.

Not didactic. Not pater-/maternalistic. Not as a finger of authority saying Thou Must Or Else.

Just good advice, sage wisdom and the experience of ages.
