A 5 star rating doesn't do justice to this projection into the future. A brilliant portrayal of history as it might come to be. If we are not careful, the character in that story could be any one of us (or all of us) if we don't give heed to the present circumstances and take appropriate action. Another similar work, but with a different slate, can be downloaded at https://www.scribd.com/doc/311253057/The-Western-Book-of-the-Dead-pdf# . These two stories could easily be superimposed one over the other. Methinks the future is now!

Yesterday, I received this cleverly written post from my sage brother-in-law and brother-in-Christ, which describes life for one whimsical gal in the year 2419. As I read it, I instantly thought it could have been written by any one of us with some ridiculously “far out” humor intact. I hope you enjoy reading Tessa’s words and smile at the absurdity of the future life she experiences as she regales her grandfather’s words of wisdom which brings her back to her center, that reminds her, she is not alone, and neither are we! 🤗

I can't listen to anything connected to Sam Harris without getting physically ill within minutes. Can you tell us what the punchline is?

Just keep on hitting that send button Tessa. Your insights are so spot on as illustrated in this poignant story. I also want to say how much I enjoy the comments of your readers. It is very encouraging for me to realize that there are still many who do get it.

After years of enjoying Tessa's brilliant writing I now managed to find out how to get into the comment section :-).

Tessa, I truly love your mind, your inner independence and clarity and your human-ness. Thanks for being you and sharing your mind and soul! So good to know you're on this crazy planet with us. Greetings and virtual hugs from Ute in doomed Germany *sigh*

Thank you Diane!!! I think through observation :) but I in all honesty did not expect anything like that to start unfolding in my lifetime. I was concerned about the faraway future!!!

As I read I kept thinking, "How absurd," and yet at the same time, how familiar. I just hope our ending is the same as your character experienced.

There entire past three years could be filed under "how absurd, and yet.... " I hope for less carnage in real life!!!

Perhaps the "absurd" part is this of the lost souls who intend to transform the whole planet into the image of they believes (how poor ideal!), and not to learn from this wonder we are trying to keep "natural" (the flying paradise and her magic inhabitants)... So terrible times, and so honored too to have the chance to be part of this fight, to learn even when so hard.

Thanks Lena for your shares!

That is a beautiful story! So hopeful and full of love. This is a wonderful answer to the WEF future that they want for the world. I also do not accept the WEF's AI dictatorship. I agree that cognitive autonomy is everything. This is what is at stake, right now, and in the future. The road to being a cyborg has started but we don't have to stay on it. I think that this is a spiritual journey, that we are all on, and there is an opportunity to find our strength. We are choosing our future every day.

I think our only response is to appreciate that we are all in this moment for a reason. And that we all have a part to play in stopping these psychopaths!

I was trying to "bring awareness" to what Big Tech was up to, in a creative way. But I think they did the job themselves in 2020. :)

Thank you John!! Yeah it was weird to re-read it in 2020 after forgetting about it for the most part.

Believe it or not, I wrote it with the hope of being published in the NYT (lololololol). I was in communications with an editor whom I liked, and who liked another piece of mine that was ultimately rejected, but I thought I'd write a sci-fi piece that could fit... sure enough, come 2020, I learned that said editor became very afraid of COVID and nearly left her house for two years or so... no wonder it was never published :))))))
