#1. Bulldozer vs. Love

I was going to send this as a part of a longer article that I am working on but long articles take time, and I want to be practical and share the link to my latest story published by Dr. Mercola before the 48-hour window runs out.

A quick comment: Usually, whenever I bring up fighting the good fight from a place of love, one or two people, overtaken by understandable pain, object by saying that you just can’t win with love, that anger is needed in order to overthrow the crap, etc.

I think this objection legitimately reflects the state of real pain but misses the very point. Love in the real sense of it is hard to experience if you are not healed. Pain is the world’s way to show that the balance is off, and that you need to pedal toward healing no matter what. That is what we all learn at some point—that we are not victims, not the world’s repository of pain—but people of love, and people with power. And it’s our job to pedal toward healing, toward total self-respect, toward joy, no matter the circumstance.

No matter what injustice exists, no matter what crap, no matter what horror is going on, our job is to always stand up for our joy and to pray for the chemistry of the universe to support us in our plight for love. Yes, we are not robots. We are human. We feel things. When we feel hurt, we scream. We scream and scream and scream our lungs us—to feel relief. But if we want to be effective warriors for good, it’s important to heal.

And the state of happiness is actually a spiritual state that has only minor correlation with the circumstance. One can have everything and be anxious af, and one can also be dealing with ridiculous crap and be happy none the less. I know this for a fact.

And love is not an expression of fake kumbaya (like a comfortable person watching an Oprah show and feeling exalted, lol). Love is not a talking point. Love is not weak. Love is not a synonym of not noticing crap. Love is just what deletes pain and fear, the only force in the universe that can do that.

Love is what you feel when you are spiritually rooted in the right place for you, it is a feeling of spiritual belonging and the desire to spread the joy. Love is seeing soul beauty in every human being who is sincere (right or wrong), and who is not a born predator in this life. (Born predators are their own separate beast, I’ve written about this before, they warrant a shield that makes them inert but not hatred, they do objectively bad things but they have a spiritual purpose of not letting good people fall asleep. Protecting ourselves from predators is our duty. “Punishing” them can be left to the universe.

#2. Great news!! CHD defeats NY state healthcare workers COVID mandate!

In a groundbreaking decision filed today [January 13, 2023], NY State (NYS) Supreme Court Judge Gerard Neri held that the COVID-19 vaccine mandate for healthcare workers is now “null, void, and of no effect.” The court held that the NYS Dept. of Health lacked the authority to impose such a mandate as this power is reserved to the state legislature. Furthermore, the court found that the mandate was “arbitrary and capricious” as COVID-19 vaccines do not stop transmission, vitiating any rational basis for a mandate.

Children’s Health Defense (CHD) financed this lawsuit on behalf of Medical Professionals for Informed Consent and several individual healthcare workers. Sujata Gibson, lead attorney, said, “This is a huge win for New York healthcare workers, who have been deprived of their livelihoods for more than a year. This is also a huge win for all New Yorkers, who are facing dangerous and unprecedented healthcare worker shortages throughout New York State.”

CHD President Mary Holland stated, “We are thrilled by this critical win against a COVID vaccine mandate, correctly finding that any such mandate at this stage, given current knowledge is arbitrary. We hope that this decision will continue the trend towards lifting these dangerous and unwarranted vaccine mandates throughout the country.”

We are off to a great start in 2023.
