They start the article with a reference to the horrible war (the war in which people die, the war that was designed to be a war that never ends or at least doesn’t end until— the emperors on every side hope—the world is re-cut according to the “new normal” NWO … and the people? Who’s ever cared about the people anyway?).
The article is almost art in how linguistically upside-down it is.
As societies have emerged from the pandemic, the freedom of protest activity has seemingly also returned — but its power has shrunk.
Indeed, it’s time to bury the illusion, born of the vegetarianism of a few decayed Communist regimes of the late 1980s, that if lots of people walk the streets or listen to noble speeches in a square, the nastiest regimes will limp away with tails between their legs. Functioning democracies are still responsive to peaceful protest. But a modern-day Gandhi or Nelson Mandela risks never making it out of prison in thoroughly coup-proofed autocracies like Russia, Belarus, Iran, Cuba or China.
In 2022, the geography of protest has been truly global — from Argentina to Belgium, from Cameroon to Cuba, from Haiti to Hungary to CANADA [Just kidding, they didn’t mention Canada or Australia or the U.S. or the UK]. In most cases, people took to the streets because of economic hardship — and it got them nowhere. Equally unsuccessful were those mostly peaceful protests motivated by a desire for more freedom or by indignation at government corruption. The failure of the Iran protests — at least so far — despite the broad support they enjoy in Iranian society is a case in point.
For many people, 2022 was a year for shedding illusions. One of the most romantically alluring of them — that of the people’s peaceful might — must go, no matter how much we may mourn it. Modern forms of evil cannot be taken down with a song or a meme — and whoever is not ready to fight in the most physical sense of the word may well be the next victim.
Wait, Bloomberg Magazine, are you saying that the people should be entitled to physical self-defense in fighting for their bodily autonomy and medical rights? Or does your logic only apply to the alphabet-desirable coups—while “our democracy” is whatever you say it is? Asking for a friend.
And for the record, Bloomberg, I am not joining you in calling for a violent coup anywhere on Earth. History shows that coups usually just elevate a different, newly hungry, brand of crap—while people on the ground pay the price with their red-colored blood and families torn apart—and the suffering goes on. So, no. Peaceful and dignified is where I choose to remain.

From what I understand, in 2020, Andrew Bidgen MP became successfully confused by the Master Plot and believed the lockdowns and the shots, etc. But then his clarity kicked in, and now he is speaking out with courage and rigor. And that, I think, is the beauty of spiritual and intellectual growth. We have all messed up in our judgment, in different ways, in different areas, possibly many times. But the spirit prevails, like the grass that breaks though asphalt, and it shines through. I thank the brave MP for having found his clarity and defending it now.

By the way, personally, I am indifferent to polls, they can be a subjective beast. I rely a lot more on the “evidence of my eyes” than on the polls. But since polling is generally considered a thing, why not report on the fact that Americans are juuuust a tad more suspicious of the injections than what the television wants us to believe (Rachel? Rachel? Are you there?)

It's called 'projection'; accusing others of what you're thinking and doing.
The article is especially fitting at the moment when 20 US House members are being labeled as 'insurrectionists' and 'terrorists' for not being willing to endorse a top mafia hack as Speaker.
It's all good, because as you say Tessa, they continue to show themselves. Every day more people are seeing what the ruling class has become, and that's necessary progress.
And, there's truth in what they say. The situation really has developed to the point that protest is meaningless. Appealing to the mafia will not gain freedom from the mafia, nor will the mafia reform itself because they're asked nicely.
The trap in the piece is the old Hegelian dialectic: There's only two options, peaceful protest or violence. Obviously they prevail and profit either way. The rational way is neither of those. It's completely withdrawing consent and cooperation, and creating a new, local social structure from the ground up that doesn't include the predatory state and its allies.
When talking about Igor's article, I meant to say that I am JUST going to share it, I had a sentence in there that said "I am not going to pontificate and just going to share it," and a few words got accidentally erased. :)) Since I shared Igor's great article right after saying I was NOT going to share it, hopefully you got a good laugh out of it.
