thomas hobbes, of all people, observed that in a relationship defined by domination, the dominator also becomes a slave to that dynamic
with visions like yours Tessa who needs psychedelics! the veil is thinning. i think i also found out who i was last time around. not a good guy. but a cautionary tale not to mess up this time
I think it is possible that all of us try out different roles if we go far enough back. We are brought up in this rather limited perspective that is like a 2D cartoon with heroes and villains, and it has its place but I think that in the real reality we play roles and learn, and it is better to choose not to harm
It's a good thing because he seems to attract manipulative women. Mind control?
Perhaps just normal narcissism on his part opening up his "firewall" to be vulnerable to sociopathic people.
I know because I went through the same thing. She was always saying how men were trying to manipulate her. That's fine, it happens and she was not cheating.
However, this attention she was getting put her in this fantasy paranoid state where she wasn't present and ended up ignoring the most basic of affection that I gave.
And she had the fking balls to get mad at me when I was trying to find out what's the issue. Nothing but her own paranoia (believing everything is out to get you) and pronoia (believing everything is out to help you).
She was either a predator or prey. Domination or submission with her emotions but no balance.
The in between: respect, equality, fairness, love....
Not for her.
In dating it was also odd meeting these people who either wanted to dominate or submit.
I didn't care and just continued meeting people.
If they didn't like me or whatever, who gives a shit.
And then around the start of this covid mess, I met a great woman. It was friendly and honest.
None of that domination or submission bullshit.
These days, I think humanity is facing that too with politics and business. We are seeing that stupid robotic domination and submission cycle.
We were sold the American dream which was that after you submit for X time, you can dominate.
It's over folks. This pyramid scheme of "pay your dues so you can collect dues in the future from others" crap is not working.
And now we face the truth, which will scare many but be familiar to those of us that stayed true to our own hearts.
We are neither predators nor prey.
To love your enemies means to know them. Know their drives and impulses. This brings me comfort because the more I know about them, the more I see that they're automatons.
I like these simple lyrics by Leonard Cohen, from the song Anthem:
"You can add up the parts
But you won't have the sum
You can strike up the march
There is no drum
Every heart, every heart
To love will come
But like a refugee.
Ring the bells that still can ring
Forget your perfect offering
There is a crack, a crack in everything
That's how the light gets in"
The heart has its defenses, and, like a closed door, it must at times be broken in order to open completely, mostly to itself, to its inner Divinity and in order to realize that it does not need love like an empty stomach needs food, it is love, and simple needs to share it.
There is, however, no easily understandable explanation to human life and experience, especially when we consider the possibility that all of our lives (past, present and future) are happening simultaneously. It remains a mystery, and even people who are in the Spirit world do not have all the answers, and have more questions than answers, which I think is at it should be. If we knew all the rules of the game and its outcome, we would lose interest in playing it...
About fear, I think it comes when we experience danger and powerlessness, which is what the puppet masters want us to experience continually. But it is almost impossible to experience fear when we are firmly rooted in the Spirit world and not only know but feel that our being is eternal. We then understand that there is nothing to fear except possibly temporary physical pain. Death is merely a door, a birth into the Spirit, and pain around death, which is not necessary, is merely a tool meant to cause some of us to feel an overwhelming need to let go of our physicality, which then makes leaving this world easier.
I tested this in my own experience when confronted, alone, by a mother black bear deep in the Oregon woods one day. I had absolutely no fear, I turned sideways, calmly sat down and gently talked to the bear to reassure her, because I realized she was afraid of me (she had two young cubs to protect). I had no weapon of any kind, not even a toothpick. After a few minutes, she calmed down, got back on all fours (she had been growling and standing on her hind legs about 12 feet from me), the cubs climbed down from the trees and they turned back. This was not about courage: I truly had no fear and understood her, and communicated with her. When the mind and heart are clear, everything else becomes clear and peaceful, and as it should be. I also encountered a mountain lion at dawn on a lakeshore in Northern California (very close encounter, a couple of feet), same scenario (except no offsprings), no fear, and calm was restored peacefully.
Imagine the peace that would come to the human world if people could let go of fear, grounded in their eternal nature...what would appear to be miracles would be common place.
Thanks for sharing Tessa❤️ it took me many years to connect the dots to the truth. My best guess is that fear was introduced to the human organism and interrupted the transference of love, even self love. When you get to the end of this thought process of fear and anger; all that is left is a sadness for what “could have been.” This morphs to a feeling of peacefulness and faith in God. I feel we should always be mindful of the world but never give it the power to distract us from our true spiritual purpose 💕
... my experience tells me..it goes beyond any mindset. its lived experience, that umoved ground of all things, even if the torrents wash over like never before
The monk told me: "Find a love so strong, it overwhelms your sexual desire and renders it weak by comparison. It's not easy to do because sexual desire is a very powerful force. The reason sexual desire is so strong is ... it's meant to lead you to something higher than sex itself."
it can, as a matter of fakt (pun:) it did just recently. and that goes beyond the physical, beyond the necessary intimacy into, well the unspeakable. doesnt mean the desire vanishes: it even gets worse, way worse ;)
and: that kind of awakening isnt without its dangers for its a high energy process...kundalini n stuff..can mess with your brain badly
and: it was completely unexpected in a not serious one off sètting. but it happend and irreversibly changed us. i wanted that deepest longing kiss to go on forever. but she was finished and cut me loose. and that drove me right to the edge, and a bit over, into the lands of insanity....but, still standing, heart needs a lot of mending
Tessa, I know you shared your ancestor story with our group the other day but I’m glad you did publicly. I was hoping you would. It’s been a pleasure to witness your journey this past year.
Thank you Chris!! It's been a pleasure to witness your journey, as well, to the extent you made it publicly available. I am still thinking about your beautiful story about you talking back to yourself from different times.
Beautiful. Agree: faith conquers fear. Faith doesn’t mean you don’t have to do anything. It means you are not afraid to do anything. That is how freedom is won. “We are always only one generation away from losing freedom.” - Ronald Reagan
I find it wonderful how we touch each other’s life’s without ever seeing each other face to face

You'll meet someone that isn't stuck in fantasy land.
And it'll be easy.

I have noticed this with our black bears also.

Yup fear is the mindkiller for a reason. It s so much more fun to live life like you r already dead. No need for vaccines, for instance.
Once fear of death is vanquished a different frame of mind sets in.
