It is very important that people change their minds - I can’t think of anything more important. Of course, it really isn’t good enough if they don’t sever themselves from a narrative in which their actions were completely justified. And isn’t actually that I want them to feel pain but it is important for them not to be in denial. I am not very happy if people do change their minds if they are cold shouldered by those who called it correctly and suffered, because actually we need this to happen in order to make political and social progress.

I agree!! In my own experience and opinion, being patient with other people is more beneficial to the world (and healthier for us) than being "righteous" and punitive.

It is impossible to know what exactly is happening in his mind, and it could be that he changes his mind five times a day about it. I usually rely on my nose for how I feel about anyone's sincerity at any given moment. But all in all, it is the master manipulators who want the "old school" people to be intolerant, and it is probably a safe bet that some "dissidents" are placed early on with the purpose of stirring anger and intolerance among other dissidents when mainstream people start coming over to the factual side even a little bit.

I am not saying to which extent Chris Cuomo is sincere or insincere, I have not thought about it enough. But I think it is good that he said something at least, and I hope he heals.
