A quick question. I uncovered a bunch of things I wrote some 10-15 years ago. They are artistic things, diary-like almost, philosophical thoughts, poetry, etc. Even some Russian poems that are, amazingly, not bad, I completely forgot.
Would you like me to share some of it?
In may ways, I was a different person back then, a lot more raw, a lot more dependent on being “validated,” and reeeeeally expressive. An artist, I am, after all.
Reading it now makes me appreciate what I have learned since (in part thanks to shock of the post-2020 world), but it also makes me love myself of back then. At the time, I was perpetually tormented, seeking, needing, feeling bad about not being loved by the world the way I wanted, etc. But I look back at that total imperfection, and I see the beauty.
My hope is that if I share it, it may help somebody to fall in love with themselves and accept themselves in the raw. But I don’t know if you want to see it, or if you are more interested in my analysis if what’s going on now, COVID, transhumanism, etc.
Please let me know!
A note to readers: If you are in the position to do so, I very much encourage you to become a paid subscriber or donate. I love you in any case, but it helps A LOT, and I am in a dire need to get more donations and paid subscribers while keeping my posts free. Thank you from my heart for your support!
Share away! However, I'd recommend creating a separate section in your newsletter for these earlier/older "Reflections" so those who are interested in your more current commentary can unsubscribe from the earlier/older content while still receiving your latest, greatest insights.
Sure, go ahead and share! There's already enough doom-reading, ie current events, to satisfy everyone. Some heartfelt stories and feel-goods would be welcome. 'Sides, it's you and your substack - your fans will love pretty much whatever you write. Others can just scroll on by.
