Having taking care of my Mom, MIL and 93 yo uncle the last few years (luckily they all took turns) it can be a full time job and exhausting. You will never regret the time you spend with your mom. You don’t owe us anything, we appreciate anything u share. Remember to take care of yourself before answering emails.
Thank you! I was happy to do it because they were all there when I was younger and had children. As it should be but not always possible with toxic family members. These 3 were gems.
Oh, my. That's interesting, "toxic family members." My brothers, full of greed, are making it very difficult for me to care for my parents... It's quite harrowing.
That is yours to do! You being with your precious mom is echoed through the universe and amplified on a macro level. If everyone on this planet just took the time to be with their loved ones, how many wars would get fought? None. And how freaking awesome would that be?
I agree: your priorities are straight. I don't think any of your readers expect that someone who preaches love so viciously would allow her mother to slide down the hierarchy. My best wishes to you both, and to your readers besides.
Sure, there might be some immature people who are offended if you don't reply - heck, I was that way myself decades ago. But mature people realize that everybody's only got 24 hours in a day. And the more famous a person is, the less time they have to answer someone. Take care of family situations first!
You've got your priorities straight. Do the best you can with your mom, and if anything is left over, do this. I think everyone here is guided by pretty much the same general set of principles, and are aware of the same set of facts, so don't get worried about not doing enough - you've done plenty.
Tessa, Thank you for sharing this. No one's life flys like an arrow as much as our To Do List wishes it were so. Thank goodness. Distractions abound, beautiful, tragic and sometimes fortuitous. Our minds and hearts argue sometimes, about what to attend, but lucky for you that struggle seems absent, regarding your mother. I love how you write about it - the fierceness of your love for her. It brings clarity and your vulnerability allows the rest of us to connect with you more deeply and appreciate you and wish the best for you. I often have too many balls in the air at once. I found your Personal Note comforting, a moment when I could take a breath and assure myself that this affliction is just human, we all face it. Thank You.
Family first. Take care of your mum. We all love you and can wait for your delightfull perspectives when you have the time or inclination. Take care. Stay safe!
You are fortunate and blessed to have such a wonderful mother. Not all of us can say the same, but God has His plans! I am praying for you, for you precious mother, and for the fight in you to never die. I'm so glad I found you! (I found you through Dr. Mercola, another brave warrior against the Great Reset)
Your priorities are perfect. Take good care of YOU and your mom.
Thank you
All the best to you and your mother.
And we love you too, Tessa. Your priorities are in line. Bless you and thank you. 🙏🕊️

Kudos to you, too. xo

Oh I learned all about the greed being my uncles POA then Trustee. I could write a book!
Yes, I'm finding this experience is very common... Yuck. Glad you're through with it... I'm being broiled, boiled, and soiled...

Great update. God bless you and your mom. Family is important, (& it’s the backbone of a strong country )

Totally proper order of priorities Tessa. Don't let heaven wait.
