When the notions of good and evil are manipulated: today's call for paid subscribers
Plus, a video of Swedish songs for cows.
This week’s Philosophy Club call for paid subscribers is about a topic that goes many levels deep. It builds and expands upon what we talked about in the past few weeks.
What is evil? Does it exist in the absolute sense? Does it serve an existential role? And what happens when the widely accepted definitions of good and evil are created by the not-so-well-intended, free-will-bending, power-hungry individuals who are currently walking on the dark side?
The call is today, Friday December 15, at 2pm EST. As usual, the call is in real time, no recording, to avoid the wretched “performance mode.” If you want to participate in the Philosophy Club but can’t afford a paid subscription at this time, or if you supported me in the past, please sent me a note, and I will comp you to my Substack.
The link to today’s call is after the video, behind the paywall, This way, it is easy for you to tell if you are a paid subscriber or not.
The video, unusual as it is, is about traditional Scandinavian herding calls.
