You are amazing

I want to thank all of you who responded, picked up a paid subscription or donated. You helped me at a time when I really needed it, and I am moved to tears. Your kindness moved me in the warmest, sweetest way.

I have a thing where I was born strong and raised in the Russian culture where you are supposed to “just deal with it,” so usually, when I deal with something, I don’t talk about it, and focus on what I need to do for others, and what I need existentially. And throughout my life, I have dealt with a great amount of cruelty, betrayal, and things like that. So I got conditioned to only ask for help in exceptional situations, squeeze my teeth, carry on, etc.

You made me feel very loved. Thanks to you, I am in awe of the human power to heal, once again.

We are so powerful together when we are kind.

PS. Here is a picture of the Russian vibe in which I grew up. Yours truly is toiling at the piano, playing something I had composed (I think that’s what was going on, not sure now).
