SARS-CoV-2 mentioned in 2006 (thanks Igor), Tucker fired, and alternative math
A collection of news and interesting things that caught my eye
#1. SARS-COV-2 mentioned in a 2006 paper
The credit goes to Igor Chudov who undug it. It’s an actual paper from 2006 that lives on the NIH website.
Paper:
Preparation of a Chimeric Armored RNA as a Versatile Calibrator for Multiple Virus Assays
To reduce costs and simplify multivirus detection, we are seeking to produce a single chimeric armored RNA species that might be used as a positive control for multiple viral targets. We consider this task to be feasible because the inventors of armored RNA predicted that, theoretically, at least 2 kb of nonbacteriophage RNA sequence might be encapsulated (8). As proof of this principle, we tried to directly package a 1200-nucleotide–long foreign RNA sequence containing gene fragments of hepatitis C virus (HCV), HIV-1, severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 1 (SARS-CoV1), and SARS-CoV2 into the original armored RNA production vector pAR-1 (8).
The “(8)” footnote :

#2. Tucker Carlson fired
Now, I personally think that the world is complex and that the mainstream media is all theater for the masses. There are things I agree on with Tucker, and there are things I disagree on with Tucker (or anyone else, for that matter). BUT in the past few years, he has been one of the very few people on mainstream TV challenging the establishment narrative. And for that, I applaud him.
This could have been what got him fired.
Vox (!!):
In a stunning announcement, Fox News said it has ended Tucker Carlson’s reign as the host of the network’s highest-rated primetime show (and one of the highest-rated shows on basic cable, period), effective immediately.
Other sources are citing lawsuits as a possible reason for his firing. I suspect that only he knows but it does very much look like he was fired for sticking out too much or for stepping on a wrotg person’s foot.
#3. 2 + 2 = ?
Speaking of sticking out, here are two very good films. Very different, to the same effect. One is about the current times in a funny way. The other one is an excellent primer on how historical trauma works.
Imagine that the boys in the second film grow up and have kids. If they don’t heal over the very real trauma of having betrayed themselves in order to stay alive, are they going to teach their own kids the truth? Methinks, not.
Note to readers: If you are in the position to do so, I encourage you to become a paid subscriber or donate. I love you in any case, but it helps A LOT. Thank you from my heart for your support!
The rest of the press laughed at FOX losing viewers because they were skeptical about Powell's election claims. Yet we're supposed to forget that and pretend that Tucker didn't go on the air and basically call Powell a liar.
The goal is to chill speech, and they've done it.
All for a "trial" in which discovery was denied and Dominion didn't actually have to prove their machines worked.
Is there anyone else at Fox News besides Tucker? Asking for a friend :-)
