I sent the story too early, while still editing it. Sorry about that! I made the changes on the page!

I like to paraphrase a saying when contemplating grief, and reading this it applies with trauma too. Just like you say, in another way:

Be the healing you wish to see in the world.

Thank you for opening up that little door in my mind

There is so much being said

There is much to “ do be &have “

I am in my late 70’s and it is definitely a wake up call ….

It is a good thing nothing to be afraid of….

If anything we all need to practice loving kindness for our selves and for others…

I will keep on keeping on …there is always so much to learn and share

Blessings to you all…

So interesting you sent this as I had a moment of clarity the other day... I definitely come from a lineage of pain, mainly on my maternal side; but I know I'm here to heal that pain and end the cycle of suffering. It ends and begins anew with me

Thank you, Eboni! I know that you can end that cycle of pain, and you bring new (and old but forgotten) joy back!

Thanks for sharing; this is one of the best explanations of how to work with the energy we find ourselves experiencing; an early teacher, a former electrical engineer who taught us this fact - that everything is energy, often reminded us that we are both transmitters and receivers so becoming aware of what we are transmitting (through thoughts, words and deeds) aligns us with those same things when we are in the receiving, receptive, stage.

what are your thoughts on how a person well past childbearing years can heal the DNA of a family tree? Too late to pass on "healed" DNA to one's already-born children, if the trauma took place after the children were born. Or is there another way?

Sometimes, there is an idyllic childhood followed by adult-onset trauma through interactions with predators. Sometimes, the dawning realization that not all people are pure of thought and intention does not kick in until later in life, and one was initially unprepared for it. We are not always born into it. Just interested in your thoughts on this type of scenario.

I hear you, Dani! I think that because there is a connection between parents and children, healing works in both directions!

Great perspective Tessa and resonates so perfectly with what we humans need a little shake to remember. Makes such visceral "sense" to me and once again, you have managed to cut the bs and say something so simply real that it feels like eating fresh fruit! Thank you for all you bring through. 🌷

I think that it would be very refreshing and a good start to see people everywhere be authentic, be real about their own personal challenges, difficulties, needs and hurts. The goal would be not to have a whiny population, but people who could relate to each other's circumstances and perhaps even help each other, listen to and actually hear each other (rather than thinking about what they are going to say or do next), and lift each other up.

We are all wounded, without exceptions. Most people do not know how wounded they are, how much unresolved emotional pain, anger, trauma, unmet needs or fear they carry deep within. They are, in other words, not fully conscious, and consequently not full present, but stuck in repetitive patterns that are rooted in the forgotten past.

There are many paths to personal healing, as many as they are individuals and circumstances. This book describes one among many:

However, the more healthy you are psychologically and emotionally, and the more conscious, the more difficult it becomes to live in a very sick and unconscious world. To awaken in zombie land, to put it bluntly, to be fully feeling amongst the unfeeling, to have an open and caring heart amongst the defended, the guarded, the numb, the detached, the selfish, the indifferent, the resentful, the cynical and those who seem to be in a trance because stuck in their head and ruled by rigid beliefs, takes an immense amount of courage, as strength must be drawn from within as well as, ultimately, from Spirit.

Beautiful and important article. I feel and experience this. The laws you discuss (unseen energies that govern cause and effect) are the objective Natural Laws I’ve discussed. Natural Law is a science. How we think, feel and act (all energy like you said) reflects back to us.

Your comments on individual trauma and healing are very good. Healing is an inside-out process and cannot be found in events outside of us. What is your perspective on generational trauma, as exemplified in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict that is over 3,000 years old? I have heard that people go mad as a herd, but they recover their senses one at a time. (The last 5 years seem to prove that true!) No "peacemaker" from outside of the conflict can ever resolve the issues between the Israelis and Palestinians. With a state of permanent enmity on both sides, peace does not seem possible until the majority on both sides are willing to heal their trauma by letting go of the past, letting go of the negative energy of an eye for an eye....

Tessa, what you are teaching is parallel to what is going on with our bodies (and Spirit) in this era of Covid madness. All that needed to be done was connect with, center on, our healing energy (auto-immune system). Instead, we relied on the false Spirits offering us bad energy. Of course, for our healing energy to work most efficiently, we should have been properly caring for and cultivating that energy. Embracing the bad energy did not heal-- in fact, it caused more bad energy and pain and death. Healing your energy with your energy not only helped you, but also helped others. The good energy also aided in chasing away the bad energy and pain. How simple. That about 3/4 chose to embrace the false Spirits with their bad energy and pain illustrates how far people have gone astray. There is still much to be done.
