This Darkness Will End

A reminder.

This story is a reminder of our destination, which is joy and freedom. It’s song of love and healing for all who’ve been hurting. It’s a song about straightening out our spines and not being scared.

We don’t know when, we don’t know how—but this darkness will be scattered. The seeming victory march of the powerful crazies is like a gleeful celebration of a madman who is sitting on a mountain of food that he had just stolen from his entire village, thinking he is winning.

And the most important thing to remember is that we matter. Each of us matters. Only very broken people or deliberate predators would try to steal aliveness. It’s on us to believe in ourselves completely and cling to our souls and not let anyone trick us into losing.

And this is being reported from China.

Life has taught me to never be too sure about news from foreign counties because, without being on the ground, there is no way to know what is going on. However, this is being reported from China. And it looks like the people have stopped complying.
