I was looking for what to send alongside this correction, and I figured that in the light of the current news cycle, it’s appropriate to send a couple of old American “anti-communist” videos and one Soviet “pro-communist” one. Together, they are interesting to watch (also the second video is a bit of a mind trip).
By the way, I have long been saying that distracting us with agony over “isms” is a trick. I still think that BUT for the record, the appealing and round poultry in the Soviet propaganda film looks very suspicious to me. Poultry in Soviet shops (when it could be found at all) had a famed reputation of being blue-ish in color and very thin.
