Biden's Executive Order on Advancing Biotechnology and Biomanufacturing Innovation for a Sustainable, Safe, and Secure American Bioeconomy
A dance of a very clumsy and megalomaniac elephant in a china shop.
For biotechnology and biomanufacturing to help us achieve our societal goals, the United States needs to invest in foundational scientific capabilities. We need to develop genetic engineering technologies and techniques to be able to write circuitry for cells and predictably program biology in the same way in which we write software and program computers; unlock the power of biological data, including through computing tools and artificial intelligence; and advance the science of scale‑up production while reducing the obstacles for commercialization so that innovative technologies and products can reach markets faster.
My inner five year old is wondering how long it will take a serious busy adult to wake up to the fact that this is insane? Let me repeat: Our leaders have issued an Executive Order that is insane. And our leaders are not the only ones who are in on this potentially very devastating scam. It’s a worldwide devastating scam!
Write circuitry for cells?!!!!!!! For the record, the scientists are still discovering new organs in the human body… and pharmaceutical giants are testing novel gene therapy that they dream to give to hundreds of millions of people on eight mice…. So EVERYTHING IS FINE.
Our rulers are crazy. But we are here, we are connected to the mystery of life, and we are not theirs. My prayer is for life to prevail, and for the ones creating trouble for the human race to be exposed and expelled. May our strong, all-knowing hearts and our bodies be protected from their tricks and their harm at all times. We have the power to say no. We are not theirs.
PS. I also like this and keep coming back to it all the time.
