Bagging Patients + Tragic Sudden Passing + Biosecurity Dissent (??)

Patients badly abused; young comedian dies; Armenia is rumored to push back against the U.S.

This story is a quick collection of news that I am compelled to share because they make me feel things.

#1. Atrocity

A hospital in TX was “bagging” helpless COVID patients (putting plastic bags over their heads) to “protect the staff.” For over a year. With impunity. Were they the only hospital doing that? I believe I saw other similar stories. What happened to us?!!

#2. Tragedy

Another young man passed suddenly in his sleep. True, philosophically speaking, it’s unknown why he passed away, but practically speaking, it’s weird how many young people are dying “suddenly and unexpectedly” nowadays. It is starting to feel like a horror movie where people get lured into the trap and never come back—while everyone who is still alive is enjoying the party.

The “debunking” article reads eerie and doesn’t do a good job at debunking the hypothesis. And if he really passed away from vaccine injury after mocking “antivaxxers,” it only adds to the tragedy. Yes, one is responsible for protecting one’s heart and one’s brain from the tricksters—and not siding the abuser (!!!)—but one also deserves compassion because the abuser used a spell.

#4. Democracy

In random news, I just read that Armenia is pushing back against the U.S. in terms of collaboration on biosecurity research—which, if true, makes it an outlier. America is usually unkind to dissenting outliers (and yes, both of my homelands are worth one another when it comes to their grand ambitions but America has traditionally been less tolerant of geopolitical dissenters). So let’s hope that no higher-up in my new homeland decides to “save Armenian democracy” via a color revolution. There is too much pain in the world as is, no need for more. I have a soft spot for this land. No color revolution, please.

This world is a geopolitical snake pit where smaller countries are forced to maneuver between competing empires to ensure that they secure the most support and deal with the least abuse. So I hope that the higher-ups in my birth homeland chill out as well.
